BM Dresses
Where did everyone get their BM dresses from, and about how much were they? I don't know where to go, and I really don't want my girls spending way too much. What is the average price?

I found my BM dresses from Elegant Bride in Albertson
we bought my gown, BM gowns and MOB dress there - the BM dress was $190 with tax. I didn't want to spend that much, but couldn't find much for less than that....

My dresses are from the manufacturer Dessy - $155 at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. Dessy makes a lot of styles and has a lot of colors to choose from. I saw dresses ranging from $150-300, but I too, didn't want the girls to spend too much.

BM dresses from Bridal Reflections
We bought the BM dresses from BR in Massapequa. They were $198 and by Belsoie. I didn't want them to spend that much either, but they liked them the best.

BM dresses from Bridal Reflections
We got our dresses from Bridal Suite of Centereach. They're from Impression Bridal, for $174 w/tax and then a $55 alteration cap.

Netbride.com
Found Jim Hjelm dresses at Here Comes the Bridesmaid in NYC retailing for $250. Saved close to $100 each from Netbride.com Not only did I save my maids the $100, but also the tax (there is none when purchased out of state) and they can have the dress altered at a local tailor (which is much cheaper than the bridal salons) Netbride carries a number of the midrange ($200-300 retail) so its the best of both worlds.

bridesmade.com
I got my 4 bridesmaid's dresses on here, I forget the make, but they are high quality/good material, black halter top with a sweep train - for 45$ each. They are having them altered for about $20 each, the shipping was a little steep, $15, but they allowed me to ship them all together to one place and only charge me once.

BM Dresses- go to www.nydressco.com !
I found a really nice dress by Betsy and Adam in Macys, right on the rack. Check out the website www.nydressco.com - it's great. They had the dress I liked (style #7545) and it was only $119! Plus, this website has tons of dresses and you can register your bridal party online so each girl can order their dress and when the last girl orders, they all get shipped (so that they're from the same dye lot). It's a great option if you have girls who are pretty average sizes because it's not like anyone is going to measure them, they have to just know the size they need to order. But the dresses are reasonable and there is no built in atleration charge, if someone does need an alteration they can just go to their local taylor - which is bound to be cheaper than the bridal salons. GOOD LUCK!

David's Bridal
This was just easiest since all my BM are from different states (one in NYC, one in LI, one in NJ, two in PA, and one in FLA). The dresses were $150 but they will have any alterations needed done somewhere else (I hear David's kills you on the price of alterations) Good luck with your planning

bm dresses
I asked my BMs if they wanted a deal on the internet or go to the store...($40 more)...they all said it would be easier to get it at the bridal store... I bought dessy (after six) and they were $198 - 15% off.

bm dresses
Mine are Jessica McClintock...technically not bm dresses, they are called 'special occasion' dresses. They were $172 (+ tax)- which my bm's were happy about. They felt anything under $200 nowadays was reasonable. They were shipped to me within 7 days. Jessica McClintock does not do alterations, but I think they may pay less going to a tailor. Some of them don't need any alterations at all, because they are true to size...good luck!Welcome New Vendors
