Does anyone have a bridal party member that has a tattoo that will stand out on your wedding??? My sister does on her calf. its a big one. I wanted a dress that is tea length in the front and long in the back. Her tat stands out. It is rude that I told her she has to cover it up???

Personally, I liken asking someone to cover a tat for a wedding to asking a BM to loose weight or cut their hair. I wouldn't feel right asking someone to cover something that is a part of them. It's going to be on that person forever, that's how I see them everyday and I want to look back and remember the people around me as they are/were, no edits, as someone so cleverly put it. All of my BM's have tats, some visible some not. I myself have a visible one that I'm not covering as well as piercings that I'm not removing etc.
This is just my opinion tho....and some people don't have a problem with covering them or asking people to cover them and that's cool, it's just not something I would do.

I agree. It's up to her what she wants to do with hers. I am covering the ones on my arms, but thats my choice for MY wedding. I wouldnt tell any of them to cover their tattoos. I knew they had tattoos when I chose them to be in the wedding, so Im dealing with it.

Every member of my wedding party, including myself, has visible tattoos. I would never ask any of them to cover them up because I wouldn't want to be told to cover mine. It's just who they are, and maybe its because I have ink, I'm not bothered by it in the least.
But it is YOUR wedding so you have to do what make you happy!
