Bridal Reflections: the horror continues...

Original post by DMcK

I just spoke to the manager at Bridal Reflections. The situation gets worse! She has to see my dress to determine what happened, and my dress has already been preserved. She refused to pay for the preservation. I have professional pictures (and a professional video) showing my dress fall ingapart and she will not see or view those. Not only did this place upset me every time I went for a fitting, they refuse to refund me for a dress that fell apart.

My mother in law also called to try to help me and explain since she knows about sewing and saw the state of my dress firsthand, and the woman said she was 'abusive' and hung up on her.

I am so worked up, mad, upset, and don't know what to do

for what it's worth... do NOT give up on this fight!!

You will get results if you keep at it.

just as an fyi, I complained to Fortunoff about being mis-treated in their jewelry dept. and was sent a $100 gift certificate. I also complained to Stop & Shop about a lot of problems FH and I have been encountering there and we got a $25 gift card.

so don't quit!

Thank you for all of your support and ideas. I scheduled a meeting with the General Manager for the week after next and my sister (who was at every fitting and knows everyting that happened) will be there with me. I'm debating about whether that is the best move but we'll see. I'll keep you posted.

Your support means so much

Tell her you are going to sue her. watch how quick she will respond. If not have DH call and say he is a lawyer wanting to resolve this before further actions are made. She will fix it and or copensate you. Good luck

I agree with the Help Me Howard suggestion. There was a bride on theknot who used him for RK Bridal because all her BM dresses came in wrong - all of them, wrong sizes! and he got them to take them back and alter them at no charge - her wedding's this month and they had refused to do anything...so try that first or sue, but get your money back...and don't quit! We're all here for you!

Keep up the fight! Just playing devil's advocate - I can understand why the dress store wants to see the dress themselves - I think perhaps I'd show them the dress. . . Any company is going to try to get out of going to court so I would think that they'd offer to reimburse you. I'd say you must reimburse me plus pay for preservation, otherwise we're going to court.

I said I would bring it if they paid for the preservation and she said under NO circumstances would they pay for it! They have the worst customer service EVER!

Re: Bridal Reflections: the horror continues...

That is messed up! I am picking up my dress on wed, I found Bridal reflections alterations dep very inexperienced, the girls who help you on with the dress don't know what their doing and the staff is extremly rude at times. I was their for my final fitting and they rushed me because they were backed up at the end of the night! You wait your whole life for this one day and one dress and they treat you like you are a pain in the *** to them! If it werent that I was so in love with the designer of my dress I would not have continued with them. 1st they ordered the wrong color to my dress, and told me I was mistaken, which I was not, then they screwed up my moms dress. You got me worried about the final fitting! I better really check it out before I leave. YOU have to get your money back in some way. Call Shame on you, call all the news people, every channel, someone will run the story. Good Luck!

I would tell them about liweddings and let me know this may affect their business if they dont fix the problem.

It may work. Think of how many views you have had on this subject.

I wouldnt go there after hearing your story.

They READ these posts.... B/c They mentioned it in a phone call, that they wanted her to pull the post!!!

You would think from this NEGATIVE publicity ALONE, they would want to RESOLVE it as QUICKLY and GRACIOUSLY as possible...

What's Wrong with them?
