Bridal Reflections Vent

I went to bridal Reflections in Carle Place today to order my BM dresses. After going there a few times before to try on the dresses, I was told each time that b/c I have so many girls I would get 10% off the BM dresses. Well, the girl we talked to today implied that I was lying, saying in the 4 years that she has worked there they have never told a customer that and that I probably misunderstood what I was told. She also made a nasty remark b/c I didn't get my gown through them. She told me that they are not a discount store and their prices are fair. Needless to say, I walked out and ordered the dresses at the Macy's bridal salon in manhasset where I saved $60 and the service was much better.

I am getting my wedding dress from there and they were extremely nice and patient with me so far...they said that if you buy your wedding dress there, then you get 10% off bridesmaid dresses. However, when I went with my girls to try on bridesmaids dresses, the customer service was terrible!! They seem to be much nicer in the bridal section from my experience.

Good For You! Even better you got the lower price! You should send a letter to them to let them know that their poor service is unacceptable especially in such a competitive bridal market.

Same deal with me but they treated all of us very well. I got everything there but my veil and they couldnt have been nicer and more accommodating. I am sorry you had a bad experience.

I dont understand what it is with people and weddings! Either people are really nice or they are really nasty!

I went there a few weeks ago, to look for a veil & tiara. I posted on the board about my experience. Although they were not nasty to me at all, I felt that they were vey unprofessional & lacked in customer service. They pretty much ignored my mother & I. (maybe because I did not purchase my gown there???) Who know's but I left buying nothing due to their horrible sales approach. I am sorry you had to go through that & am happy that you saved money at Macy's. I have noticed since planning my wedding, that you come across good & bad experiences, but in the end things seem to work out. Good Luck with the rest of your planning!

I feel terrible that you had such a horrible experience. I went there myself and hated it as well. they NEVER return phone calls and can be extremely rude and unhelpful. There has been a few posts on here about the terrible service at BR.

Good for you for not putting up with that, b/c if that was the problems when ordering imagine what you would have to go through when they came in and if they needed alterations.

I am so sorry you had a bad experience there, however I am very happy that you were able to turn your bad experience into a positive thing by getting better service and saving money! This is such an amazing time of your life and you should NOT be treated that way from anyone! I went there recently because my friend ordered her BM's dresses there and I had to get measured for the dress. The girl that helped us was so nice, and we had such a great experience with them, so it really upsets me that they have a few people that are rude and nasty because they could really hurt the business!

Same for me as with Leslie. I was upset at this, but two of my BMs already picked out their gowns and I wasn't about to make them go to another place.

I've gone there a few times for different weddings I've been in and I've never had a good experience there. Sometimes it's been horrible and sometimes it's just been eh. I know other girls have had really good experiences with them. So I guess it just depends. You would think, though, that they would be a little more consistent.

I did go there once with my mother to try on wedding gowns. I have to say, then the service was great. The sales lady was so nice and helpful. That is why I was so surprised at my negative experience with the BM sales people.
