the problem is, we can expect anwyhere from 30-70 people. which seemed to annoy every1 at the restaurants.

i went to vilal d'este(somethin like that)
inn at nhp
and Jonathans <~~ limited menu and i saw they also own this dinner on queens blvd ,which made me cringe . thats like Saks advertising kmart. lol

basically same food just double the price cuz the outside fo the place looks soooo hot

Well I gotta ask, is the diner that they own the Pop Diner? Because if it is, the food is actually pretty good there and though it's called a diner, they serve a lot of different Asian and Spanish food and the place looks really pop-artsy, touches of Andy Warhol and such. It's not like your typical diner at all.

i went to a bridal shower at russo's on the bay, it was amazing. there was a huge brunch buffet with so much stuff followed by a sit down lunch/dinner... the nicest shower i have been to!

I gather by the places above that you are looking in the Floral Park, NHP area.
Jonathan's is actually very good, been going there for years, had only one bad experience. I would also suggest Crabtree's on Jericho in FP and also Trattoria Lucia also on Jericho, more towards Bellerose. They are a great family owned Italian Restuarant and they just made a new party room. I'm not sure of the pricing, but I bet they are very reasonable since their regular menu is!

Sorry for crashing.
