Bride's Shoes...

OK...I found my dress this weekend, now I have to find shoes. Can anyone give me any recommendations of shoe stores in NYC or Nassau County?

I got mine

at http://www.weddingaccessories.net I needed shoes in a hurry because in order to order my gown I had to know which shoes I was going to wear. My gown has a custom hem. The shoes came on-time and in perfect condition. They made sure that I had them in time for my gown appointment. Also, there customer service department was very responsive when I had a question regarding sizes. I ordered my normal size although some places tell you to go a 1/2 size bigger my shoes fit perfectly!! Plus they carry hard to find sizes and width. I wear a size 5 so it takes forever for me to find shoes. My style is sa2530- Satin with a bow. They look even better in person. A highly recommend the site.

Bride`s Shoes...

I found that there is a store on Old Country Road, across from the Roosevelt Field area in Garden City that has a pretty good selection. It is called The Bridal Shoe Boutique, or something like that. There is also a place in Lynbrook on Sunrise Hwy. (I think)called Shoe Elegance. They had a lot also.

Sandy`s Shoes in Massapequa Park

4878 Sunrise Hwy 516-799-5450 They have a wide variety of sizes. Though many of the styles look similar, there are slight differences in the way they fit. And the lady, Louise, was so, so patient while I must have tried on every pump they had! But, fortunately I found one that was amazingly comfortable (big key), and they had an applique that matched perfectly to the lace and beadwork on my gown, which they applied to the shoes for me. My mom and the girls all got their shoes there too, and they all came out great. Since the girls were all out of town, I had gotten a swatch at each of their first fittings, and brought them down ahead of time stapled to a piece of paper labeled with their names, so they could start making the dye. After the girls had their final fittings, I brought all the shoes in together with the boxes labeled, and got them back the following week.
