Bridesmaid Colors
Help!I need some color ideas. I was debating on Wine but it doesn't seem very springy.
Originally I had Nov in minid for my wedding but things changed and now we're going with March but I don't know if the color will look a little wierd. I'm not a fan of light colors.
I've been in so many weddings and seen black and blue and purple, but thats not me. I want something unique but don't want to seem awkward.
Can anyone help me?!?!?!?!?

Wine is a reddish color, but I thought it might be too dark for spring. I don't know.

March isn't really spring yet - and even if it were, you're not required to use 'spring' colors just because that's when your wedding is. If you like wine, go for it. March, at least to my mind, is more winter than it is spring - the weather certainly is!

Why don't you do a different shade of wine/red?

Re: Bridesmaid Colors
As long as its cold, I dont consider it Spring lol. Go with what you like. Our Bms are wearing hot pink, red and orange and I am wearing red heels. We have gotten so many odd looks when we tell people the colors but we dont give a rats butt. We like it. Hell, I'm wearing red lipstick for a morning wedding (rest of makeup is very subtle) and my aunt made the sign of the cross lol. But our theme is gerbera daisy garden and the colors make me happy.

Re: Bridesmaid Colors
If you do like wine, but want it to be more spring-like, how about raspberry pink or merlot color dresses, mixed with a very pale pink. You could do the flowers in pale pink, or maybe sashes. Tulips are gorgeous in pale pink, and very spring-like, and so are roses, ranuculuses, and peonies, although I don't know if they're available then. Or how about an emerald green? Again, mixed with a paler color, such as a light spring green, or maybe pale yellow, or baby blue.

Re: Bridesmaid Colors
we are getting married in june which is the spring month and we are having wine colored dresses with a champaigne sash. Do whatever you want its your wedding and honestly red is very classic and beautiful for anytime of the year. I thought bright red would just look too much like christmas so we went with wine.

I'm having the same issue. My wedding is in August and I really like the wine color too. The more and more I see them I'm liking the tea length dresses so I was thinking of the wine color in a shorter dress. I think any color you pick will look nice, go with what you really want!

Absolutely agree with this and besides you can use the wine color at any time. If it makes you feel better use spring flowers like pink roses or tulips.

I'm sooo in love with my bm dress color. Look in my album, it's a soft coral by Alfred Angelo. It's unique and very springy!!!!
