Bridesmaid Dresses...HELP!! Updated with more questions!

If my wedding gown is taffeta... would it be a bad idea to have my girls in an iridescent taffeta dress?
Here is one of the dresses i'm considering, along with a pic of my gown.
Again...it's not ME in the gown.
If we did this bridesmaid dress, it'd be in this color, without the flower pin.

For all you taffeta brides out there... what material are you having your BMs wear??

ETA:
I want the girls to wear silver shoes of their choosing so that they have the chance to wear them again... i think silver works really well with this color. One of my friends does not. What do you think?

i think that will be fine!! they look nice together in the pics. maybe you can see if bridal reflections has that dress and when your dress somes in have someone try it on and stand next to your dress.

i have some satin faced taffeta on my gown and the girls are wearing matte taffeta....i love it!!!

Silly Heather! THIS is what we agreed on for you to wear. You can't change your mind now. But maybe we can add some slits to it so that your leg warmers would show.

Check out Jasminebridal.com Their Jade section has some amazing MOB dresses that may come in this color!

ETA:
The color is called Crystal Ice or Crystal Blue or something like that on their site.
