I'm a BK bride. Anyone have any info on Marine florists on kings highway?

Do you mean on Flatbush and Flatlands? If so, they are really good!

Oh yeah my bad lol. I really need to check them out then.

LOL. I wanted to make sure, but it is right by Kings Hgwy. I like there work and they seem very professional.

How about photographers? I went to the showcase at Sirico's and met with Aldo. FH's cousin's album was displayed and it was beautiful. Please reccomend other photographers/videographer in the neighborhood who don't do cheeeeeesy photos.

my friend is using Infinity Photography. I think there on 65th street n 11th ave

They are wonderful. I just booked them for my wedding.

Hooray Brooklyn!

Do you mind FMing me their package info?

Does anyone have any idea where they are going to get their invitations? Are you ording STDs online or through your invitation store?

Try Wedding Coach on 18th Ave & 71st Street. There is also Shower Coach on Kings Highway.

I spoke with Wedding Coach at a showcase last night... I was just wondering if there are any other places around the major avenues..

Wedding Coach is really good and they have everything in there and the same for Shower Coach. As for your question I remember seeing another favor/invite store on 86th Street near the golf course or 13th Avenue....sorry I don't have an exact location for you. Also try walking around 3rd and 4th Avenues in Bay Ridge because I know there is a store there as well. Or do a search on line and see what comes up.

im a brooklyn bride!!

im actually looking for hair/makeup in brooklyn.. any suggestions?

For my son's wedding we all used Helene 'The art of Make-up' on New Utrecht Avenue around 75th Street. She does both hair and make-up and she will travel to you if want that.
She did a great job on all of us.

And she is right next to Valentina Bridal. I didn't have an appointment and I went on a Saturday and didn't wait. But, I'd always recommend making an appointment.

Do you think she'd charge extra to go out to LI?
Thanks

We all got dressed at the Hilton Garden Inn by JFK because my DIL's parents and a lot of the guest were from out of town. Helene came herself and brought one of her hairstylists with her. She did not charge more for coming to the hotel. My DIL had her hair half up/half down and looked beautiful and her make-up was great.
Good luck and keep me informed.

i absolutelly love Valentina Bridal. my cousin purchased her dress there a couple of years ago & a friend of mine purchased her dress there & then we got the bridesmaids dresses there too. the girls that work there are so nice & considerate.
i have been to other places in Brooklyn and some of the girls who work in the stores can be so ruid.

Hi girls- I need a new nail place.

I feel like a gypsy with my short nails. I think that i owe it to my rock to get some extensions. Please share your nail place and the type of nails you have on. My nail place s-u-cks- I put on the LCN nails bc I love french however they were painful.. I don't know if the technician was too agressive or it it was the nails themselves.... Please share- TIA

I go to the Nail House on 20th Avenue and 73rd Street and use Sara for my manicure and Michelle for my pedicure. They are both quiet, gentle and know their business. It is a nice quiet, clean place.

How much do they charge to put on a set and usually how long does it last before fill in?

it cost i think 65 ot 70 for a full set of lcn, 50 for fill ins, and i last a bout a month between each fillins which i think ends up being the same because with acrylic id have to go every 2 weeks and pay 20something each time so it works out to about the same for me
