Buttercream or Fondant?

I am in the crossroads of deciding my cake frosting.
I like the buttercream.....yum but the fondant I dont like as much. I wasnt surprised as they say fondant is an acquired taste.
What are your opinions?

fondant. i love the way it tastes and more importantly : ) the way it looks!
everyone has their own opinion but to me; buttercream is on like every cake i eat. so to have fondant would be special

I think fondant is way more expensive.
