Fh and I are throwing around places to go to for our HM.
We were set on Aruba until he spoke to one of his client's today who has been to both and this guy told him Cabo all the way.
I don't know how I feel about going to Mexico but his client said Cabo is very lively.
I did make a post about Aruba last week but anyone go to Cabo? If so, what's your likes and dislikes?
Personally I think I'd want to still go to Aruba but when I googled Cabo I couldn't narrow down a good hotel.

We would be staying at the Hyatt if we decide on Aruba.
I keep hearing mixed reviews about the 2. Personally I'm not looking to go out to clubs every single night on my hm. Fh and I enjoy going out for nice dinners and drinks then maybe going out to a bar w/ music 1 or 2 nights.

Aruba has beautiful weather, beautiful beaches (no one will be trying to sell you things or braid your hair while you are trying to take a nap on the beach), and the friendliest people you will ever meet!

I've only heard great things about Aruba.
FH and I stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo in August of '10. Cabo was awesome and the Riu Palace was amazing! We're probably going back for our honeymoon.

I have been to both. I prefer Cabo, but it may not be what you are looking for in a honeymoon. It is super fun and lively. Great for restaurants and beach bars (during the day). Aruba has nicer beaches and is quieter. Both have excursions you can do. Cabo is completely safe and doesn't have the issues you hear about Mexico. Also the hotesl are by far nicer in Mexico then the Caribbean but they don't have the beautiful water/beach.
