Thanks so much I think a big part of it is how HAPPY I am the minute I see that dress. I mean, I saw it on the hanger and got all misty I am so emotional!

I cannot wait for the wedding!

2 MONTHS TO GO

You're nearly there, and these last few weeks will just fly. Feeling like there's so much to do and so little time? In between your remaining to-dos, remember to take a break and recharge. Here's what you need to be thinking about this month:

TO-DOs

Send out your invitations.
Begin your dress fittings.
Arrange wedding day transportation.
Start taking better care of yourself - eat right and step up your exercise regime.
Arrange parking for reception.
Begin working on vows if you are writing your own.
Research local marriage license requirements.
Decide on and purchase accessories like veil and shoes.
As you receive presents be sure to update your registry.
Buy ceremony and reception supplies.

I'm starting to get responses back. My dress and bridesmaids dresses are in. I just need to get my shoes and then I'll be ready to make my first fitting appointment. On Saturday we went on a shopping spree at bed bath and beyond with some gift certificates I received a the shower and then we picked out our wedding rings!! It was a good day! Next Saturday we meet with the reception hall to go over menus and details.

Time to throw this one back up there! Coming into the fianl stretch! How are we on responses? Are all our invites out?

I was hoping for about 200 people (no more) and it looks like we will end up with about that much, maybe a hair more. So far we have 175 yeses.

I did finals with the photographer yesterday, which could not have gone better.
In the next two weeks, we need to meet with our videogrpaher, rabbi, band and definitely FLORIST- weh has been a thorn in my side.
On August 16th, we have an appointment with my Hall to go over menu, parking, additions, food for the vendors, and so on.
TJ is picking up my ring this weekend and I have to send the final check into the travel agent.
Almost done with our dance classes!!!

A lot to do!!!

Finally, my b-party is tonight! Woo-hoo! I could use a little less stress!!!!

Congrats on getting so much done. We really are getting down to the wire now! I have gotten alot done in the last few weeks as well:

ordered wedding bands
booked RD restaurant
finalized program
had tasting/finanlize menu
went for my first dress fitting ( it was HUGE )
picked up lane tickets for the HM

Still to do in the next two weeks:

GM gifts
marriage license
meet with band to pay & discuss music list
HM shopping
RD invitations
Hotel bags

Like Sept20, we were hoping for 150 and sent out 200 invitations. So far we're at 101 YES and 5 NO. C'mon NOOOOs!!!

Hope everyone is staying sane and enjoying the few weeks as a bride to be.

I am trying to meet with all our vendors to do finals!

Our response date came and went (yesterday) and now we are calling all the no responses. What a pain in the XXX!!!!!

We picked up the tickets and paid for Honeymoon on Sunday!!!!

RSVP's are coming in (15 cards so far) and not ONE no I should be happy, I feel loved, LOL!!!!!

Second dress fitting is 9/3.

The FG and RB mother called. FG dress is done!!!! I am getting soooooooo excited!!!!!

Hey Girls!!! How are my fellow September brides doing?? I am really starting to get busy now with only 4 1/2 weeks to go! I can't wait!
I have my 2nd fitting this week... Rehearsal invites are going out... Meeting with our priest this weekend to finalize ceremony...

buy favors- Yes, can you believe I haven't bought favors yet??
Buy Stockings
and Buy Jewelry!

--set up centerpiece & package it all for hall
--seating chart
--placecards
--3rd & Final Fitting 8/18
--get corset adjusted
--get a pearl fixed on my veil & maybe shorten it
--get my daughters dress altered
--get my daughters shoes dyed
and I know there is more but all the big stuff is done

OMG ladies, I have been in major wedding freakout mode the past few days I have only 18 days left!!!! I cannot believe how fast the last three months went. I am finishing up menus, and trying to coax our shy families into doing readings at the church- as of now, we only have one! I also need to finish the programs, and have my final fitting and meeting w. the hall on the 19th, and my photographer appt on the 20th. I am so excited that W-day is almost here

man i feel like a slacker again, i haven't met with any of my vendors since i booked them. though i've corresponded by mail so i know they haven't forgotten me.

anyway, i've got my second dress fitting this weekend, as well as ordering favors. i've also got two job interviews in nyc on friday. and we are preparing to move on 8/27. not the best timing but oh well. i keep forgetting about the marriage license. i better write a big note about that!

i feel like there's still a billion things to do and as soon as i start thinking about one another pops into my head and i'm off in another direction. hopefully this will all come together, can't wait til it's over!

I am so behind- but I think I am catching up.

Just completed:
ordered my ring
got bms gifts including their shoes
had bachelor/ette parties

Still need to do:
find an apt
meet with vendors
have final tryon
makeup trial
programs
favors
seating
gm gifts

I might have a break down. The bestman was a complete a$$ at the bachelor party and ruined the whole night for FH so now we are trying to figure out how to not have him make a toast at the wdding without it looking weird.

Tonight was my final meeting with my photographer and it went really well. I LOVE the photojournalistic photographer and his style. Now, I am really excited!!!!!!!!!

A lot of STRESS and I'm SOOO TIRED!!! Are you tired at all Karina?
Last week, I had a complete meltdown! The response date past and we have 206 people coming, some more still haven't responded. That means more centerpieces, linens, and I had a bad meeting with the florist last week. Tomorrow, we have a meeting with the florist again for finals. Saturday, we finalize the menu. His b- party is on Saturday, mine was all weekend- last weekend. So much fun! Next week, every night we have something to do- meet with the rabbi, the videographer, dance lessons, and the band. Not to mention getitng our wedding license this Friday!
All this running around and I'M NOT LOSING AN OUNCE. Going in the opposite direction!!!! LOL!!!!
What about you? Sounds Karina, like you are making progress!!!!

I'm not loosing weight either, LOL!!!!!!!! I don't get it I'm really not stressed which is WEIRD. I think i have so much going on woth the house that the wedding has become secondary, LOL!!!!!!! At thsi point, I just want it over!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha! I am feeling the same way curly. Not very stressed at the moment but I can't wait for it to be over and be on the honeymoon. I think I may have to burn my 'wedding binder' when this is all said and done.

My response date is next Friday and I've only heard back from a little over half the people. Why can't they just check the box and put the **** card in the mail??? The responses have been comning in dribs and drabs the last week - no more than one or two a day. I'm dying!
