Is it me, or is it hard to call your FH your fiancé? He's been my boyfriend for over 5 years... I keep forgetting that he's my 'fiancé'... then again, why should I get used to calling him that when I only have 3 months left before he's my hubbie?
Was just thinking about that this morning...

I think it's weird when filling out forms to have to write an answer for 'marital status'...we live together and are engaged, so it feels so weird to write 'single', but I can't put 'married' b/c we're still not legal
I agree and yet fiance still does not feel right!

I may be in the minority, but I LOVE calling him my fiance'! I waited 29 years and went through a lot of junk to get to this amazing point in my life.
Sure, it sounds pretentious sometimes, but I can't say that I care. I am just thrilled to finally be able to call him that. It is almost like I've gained temporary membership into an elite club (otherwise you are either single or married, like 99% of the population).
