thanks ladies! and i would imagine that the most expensive calphalon pots are the best? there seems to be a range...

A few of the Calphalon lines have life-time warranties... You can check the website. I think simply calphalon is the one exclusion. I got non-stick so wanted a warranty.

I registered for the Calphalon Contemp non stick I hear they are great!!

Agreed!!!! We had all-clad on our registry at first, but switched to calphalon!
