We want to go to the church dressed one way and then get home to get in our gowns and tux..
I just got my easter hat today and i want to wear it with a suit to the church..

To the best of my knowledge, your supposed to take the hat off in a catholic church and thats why I never wear my hats because my hair is always a mess when i do...but as far as a ceremony goes...i have seen people wear hats before.

of course you can wear it in church! back in the day it used to be proper etiquette (as my mother always tells me)

I thought the taking the hat off rule, applied only to men? I see women with hats at ceremonies often. There were a few at mine.

its HUGGGGE straw hat with flowers on it to match my beige and suit..

Definitely! Only men are supposed to take off their hats inside.
