try couples counseling if you still want it to work. only you guys can come to this conclusion tho, but you need to decide if its worth fighting for

This. Or maybe just put off the wedding. Maybe you guys just need more time to work things out and discuss everything.

Im so sorry. Do you live together? If it were me id take time away from the wedding. Do other things. Maybe take time apart. Remember a wedding is only 1 day, a marriage is a lifetime.

awww I am sory weddings can be super stressful especially the financial side of it. Is that the only issue or are there other issues? hopefully you can talk through it but if you just arent happy with him you need to do what you need to do. Take time to think what you want. If it is to end it because you aren't happy then do it, if it's that you aren't happy because of stress and what not then work on it.... hope everything works out.

Re: Cancelling Wedding / Engagement

Have you talked to FH about all of this and explained your feelings to him? I'm sure many girls on this board can tell you how stressful being engaged and planning a wedding has been for them. FH is probably stressing finances b/c he wants to be able to provide for you and he is seeing how expensive a wedding is. my FH never realized hwo expensive everythign was prior to us being engaged adn now he is constantly stressing money and tells me at least once a week how this money we are spending could go towards a house. Guys want to be able to provide, it's part of their nature. When FH and I hit a rough patch and all we were doing was arguing we stepped back adn took a month if not more off from planning and cleared our heads. We went out to dinner together, the movies, a yankee game all stuff we enjoy doing together. Perhaps before you call anything off, just think about taking a break from all this wedding stuff. The wedding is a day, a day we all put so much emphasis on and want to be perfect b/c it is our day. And when youre trying so hard to make everythign pefect and have everything you want you sometimes overlook the fact that this day is going to lead to a lifetime with the man you love. (at least that was me) When I took time to step back adn re-evaluate everythign and all our feeligns and talk to FH abotu what we both really want instead of what I want, it helped. Yes, we still argue abotu finances and he still gets extremely stressed over money but at teh end fo the day we love each other. And you said if he can't handle it now it makes me wonder what it will be like when we are married. Yes that is scary to think of, and that is why you need to talk to him. If he's shutting down so much adn not talking to you, try writing him a letter. When all of the Bs was going on with me and FH I wrote hima letter and gave it to him and thats what got through to him.
Remeber-FH asked you to marry him for a reason and it was b/c he loves you and he can see goign through good times and bad with you. You said yes for I hope the same reasons.

good luck

I think you should try couple counseling, maybe this will save your relationship. If you guys really love eachother you'll woth thru this. Best of luck~

I agree with the others if it's just about the wedding money try extending the engagment. Only you know what is best for you and your future.

GL with whatever your choice is

Awwww so sorry to hear that, sometimes weddings can be really stressful, talk to ur husband and see if calling the wedding off is actually a good and mutual decision and then work together from there, hopefully everything works out

You have to do what makes you happy 1st and if you love him you would think about his happiness also. Consider if splitting would make either of you happier....

I hope everything works out for you. Maybe put the wedding planning on hold-not talking about it, not planning anything, etc and just 'date' each other and just have fun with each other again.

I'm so sorry to read about this. Maybe you guys just need some time away from each other and the planning before you make such a rational decision to completely break up. just my opinion! I hope it all works out for you though!
