No, I meant who have people used who got married there. I would like to hire someone who is very familiar with the layout of the Carltun.

My florist is doing it, so I'm not 100% sure. But we've discussed votives as well as hurricane lamps. I just told him to do whatever works and looks best. As long as it's candlelight, I'm happy!

I only think there is one maitre'd and the Carltun gives you a price range of how much to tip him. They also give you a price range for the bridal attendant as well.

They do have two maitre'ds. Terance and I think Joe. I will ask for Terance, he is a lot of fun....

What does the bridal attendant do??

I'm joining the thread as the next Carltun Bride-to-Be! We booked the Carltun for 7/22/07 and we're so excited!

Thanks to everyone for all of your help and for posting your stunning pictures.

Here are some pictures from our visit to the Carltun two weeks ago. (Disregard the picture comments as we have to correct the names of some of the rooms.)

Congrats on booking! And congrats on getting pictures. Everytime I'm there I have to sneak pics because Shelia keeps telling me I can't take any!!!

Hey.. I loved the pics of the Carltun... So happy there is a Carltun Thread... I am booked for 6/29/07!! So excited.. we booked with Tiffany.. she was really sweet and very helpful. We were even able to add a pasta course in between the appetizer/salad and main entree and no extra charge. She mentioned they were getting new chairs.. glad to hear those girls who saw them that they look great. Good luck to everyone who is getting married there soon! I have my first photography/video appt tomorrow. :)

Danacm80 - Congrats on booking and getting the extra pasta course!

The new chairs are stunning! I usually like chair covers, but they really don't need to be covered. The dark wood is a nice contrast to the lighter color wood of the ballroom floor.
