yeah right..i have finals until tuesday and then i will finally have time to work on the last minute wedding stuff..thing just keep adding up including the bill..lol

i can't beleive how close it is for you! you have to do a reveiw for us!

i went for a hair trial last night. it was good but want to try another person then decide.

i'm hoping to have my invites out early next week--crazy!!! Last week we got the invites and picked up our rings--it's so real now!!

i had to send my ring back it was too big but now i'm thinking i might have made it too small because your fingers swell during the summer..oh well i'll just have to send it back again..my hair trial is tomorrow and i'm nervous about it..i hope it comes out okay!! i will definitely do a review!

Great progress Empire State! My invites came in but they were wrong

I am waiting for them to come back- I really wanted to get them out next week but I don't think it will happen.

Time is flying by! Anjerandunder--it's almost your big day!!!
We had our invites printed (a proof) and really didn't like them. Very 'flat,' so back to the drawing board.... We are hoping to get rings this weekend, I still have to order bm dresses, but we did book our airline tickets to Italy last night

I can't wait until the Carlyle '05 brides get to share pictures too!!! Good luck everyone--we're getting closer

i'm waiting on the calligrapher. they were supposed to be done on Friday but now she says wednesday.

One of the layers of paper was wrong. It was a silly mistake and I could have just used them but I really wanted what I ordered.

The envelopes are getting done while I am waiting for the new invites.

I really hope to have them out by next Monday!

Hey... do you think Carlyle will let me do the votive placecards.. or do you think it would just be annoying with how the placecards are set up in the foyer.

be honest... i really want to do them, but only it they won't get in the way and be an inconvience bc of where they are picked up.

I think they'd let you do them. They would be set up on the two tables right outside the CH room right? I think they'd look really pretty all set up too.

I think you can do them. It would look very pretty. They're set up in the cocktail room and guests can just grab them as they walk into the ballroom. We did little bunches of Indian corn with name tags tied to them and I think it worked out OK.

fyi about the votive placecards..i asked cynthia if i could do them and she said yes but that they really aren't practical in their setting ..her opinion was that they are bulky and they get hot and people will leave them around on the ch tables after they get up to get more food..she really talked me out of them..she said a placecard can be just stuck in the gentleman's suit jacket and they won't lose it..i love the idea of them but after talking with her we decided against it..just so you know..

well if you do it on the way out of cocktail hour that would mean that they are returning to the hallway to get their place setting..if that's the idea then that would work because no one is keeping them the whole ch..go for it..you will get a letter in the mail confirming your appointment and in it will have some final papers like vendor sheet and stuff like that..you have to bring an invitation also to confirm your time with what they have..i forgot mine..lol i'm so absent minded
