kids are 1/2 price (under 12) and the coat check is definitely extra - don't have my contract with me so can't remember.. i'll let you know when i get home

Next question...lighting in the ballroom. I remember Gary mentionind 'pinpoint' lighting for the tables, that would illuminate your CP's. I was at a wedding this weekend and they had that and it just looked beautiful. Can anyone confirm the Carlyle has that?

Hi girls,

I'm not a carlyle bride, but I went to a wedding there over the summer and it was really fabulous.

there were definitely bathroom attendants.
there were about 220 ppl at the wedding and there as more than enough room for everyone at the cocktail hour- they opened up all of those little side rooms.
the bridal attendant is a godsend- the bride I know who got married there said that she was like having a servant all night.
the food was awesome!

congrats to you all, your weddings will be wonderful, you can't go wrong with that place!

Its not listed on the contract, but i have it written in my notes that coat check would be $150. We weren't sure if we'd be needing it or not so i don't have it listed on the contract either. We are seeing them tonight for a final meeting so i'll be sure to ask and get the answer for you you guys

Thank you! I'm freaking out right now.. so much left to do..
I'll definitely post pictures. We're going to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for the honeymoon, can't wait!!

I don't remember anything about a coatcheck fee either....then again I'm getting married in June (you never know, June can be cool sometimes).

Are any of you getting a Day of Coordinator?

I am just wondering if we have a bridal attendant and a banquet manager - do we need Day of Coordinators as well?
