I went today to do our menu planning,cake, pick out linens, and discuss details(we also gave our deposit).The menu is out of this world!!Pat is so wonderful, he really makes the process so easy. Four months from today, yeah! Let me know if you have any questions. Continued success to all...

Heather, I'm so excited for you! Whats your menu like? Did you design your own cake? I have to start looking at pictures. We have been working with Pat too, and so far, he has been so accommodating for us! He's great. I want all the details! Good luck to you!

octobergirl, It is all very exciting,and I can't wait! We didn't design our own cake, we showed them a picture of a Martha Stewart cake and they will copy it. When you go, bring a few pictures of cakes you like. They do charge extra for things such as sugar flowers or extra details.Here is our menu(remember there are so many other food options). *I wont give all the specifics, but if you want more details on the food, let me know(example- I won't include all sauces and accompaniments). Carlyle Brides-details...one more thing!

They are closing the pro shop soon due to the US Open. They have some wonderful pictures of the course and club house, along with tons of memorabilia(sp?). It might be worth checking out for gifts.

The price for a Friday evening in August is around $160 pp including tax/grat.Have you been there? We looked at over 20 places, and we thought by far the Carlyle was the best. You do get a lot for your money there. Also, if you go with their house rec. vendors, they will let them eat for free! That saved us $600(if you have your own vendors, they eat for $50 pp).Let me know if you have any other questions. Continued success to all...

In Long Island Wedding book I beleive it says $100 - $300 range Yes it does depend on the month - they will probalby quote you higher on the phone I would go talk to them in person. I too got married there and I got thenm down in price several times. My guess would be for a Sunday night about $125
