I am in the process of chosing a hall. So far I have seen Majestic Gardens (my favorite), Lands End, and Stonebridge Country Club. I have appointements to see The Inn at Eastwind, Carlyle on the Green, The Huntington Town House, Watermill, and Villa Lombardi's. Does anyone have any suggestions on halls? I have to decide soon, and I want to go to places worth my while. Thanks

Re: Catering Halls???
Well what is it about Majestic Gardens that you really liked?
I will tell you though that compared to the others on your list HTH is the most affordable.

Re: Catering Halls???
I loved Majestic Gardens, fountains and flowers. I am looking for a place with a beautiful outdoor setting. I plan on getting married on the premisis. I am not religious, so no church. As far as price, I am not to sure yet maybe between 100-115 a person on a friday night.

Re: Catering Halls???
I would try to stay away from the HTH. MOst people do not have great things to say about them. I know the price is going to sound appealing to you, but ask yourself if saving $2k on your wedding day is really worth it.

Def look at Watermill and East Wind. I couldnt decide b/w both of them but I ended up going with the Watermill just because it was closer. They are in that price range for a Friday night.

Re: Catering Halls???
Go For Majestic!! I was married there on 7/21/02.... perfect from beginning to end. forum mail me if you have questions.
I have never been to the majestic...but I was married at Land's End...and we wanted exactly what you did...water...outside ceremony...
but I have to say...after looking at oheka and always saying thats where I wanted my wedding...and actually talking my father into paying for it...I walked into Lands End and everything changed...
sometimes you just know...and it sounds like you do with the majestic...

I like John Anthonys. We are going to book there next month. It is on the water and it has a great view. Giorgios in Bating Hollow is beautiful too.

That is so funny. The moment I saw Oheka castle on the website, I fell in love. But I am not a millionare. My fiance really likes Lands End. I think it is the Cigar Lounge. My mom loves Majestic. I am just wondering about the food. I am still looking around but thanks for everyones advice.

Re: Catering Halls???
I like the Carlyle- which is where i am getting married- so I better like it.. I'm getting married there on Friday night (1/31- soon!) and it's in that price range. We are getting married there- what I liked about it is you get 3 seperate rooms.. the ceremony room is seperate.. so it's not like you get married in ballroom, then go to cocktail hour, then back to ballroom.. i hate that.
