I am both really...I def was never a cat person growing up...we had a dog. But then we took in a stray cat after my dog passed away when I was still in HS & i started liking cats. FH and I have a cat b/c he really does not like dogs

FH is def a cat person and I am a dog person. We already know it will be an issue one day when we decide to get a pet. I have a strange fear of cats so I'm not sure that he'll ever win that fight!

We're both cat people 100% but he's also a dog person. I have a feeling we'll need a small farm.

I L-O-V-E dogs!!!! I cant imagine not having one!!! Cats...its not that i dont like them, its that they dont like me! I literally repel cats! My mom had 2 of them & they hated me!!!! I swear I never did anything to them!!!! they never came any where near me.....i also happen to think they were secretly trying to take over the world (like Pinky & The Brain) but thats just my opinion

FH is an animal lover me not so much. I always had a dog growing up and FH wanted to get one because he never had any animals growing up plus he gets home around 2 and I dont get home till 7 so he wanted something to keep him company...now we have the cutest little puppy!!!

I am a cat person who also loves dogs. I just don't feel I'm home enough to give them the time and attention to give them what they deserve. If you have the time....dog!

I am both though I have never personally owned a dog. Always had cats growing up (hence the reason we couldn't have a dog). Right now, FI and I have a cat (Dexter - he's a little psycho). When we move out of our apartment and get a house we are going to get a dog as well. I'd like to have a backyard where the dog can run around a little.

We are totally dog people... we have a mini schnauzer and are thinking about getting a giant schnauzer once we are in the house...

Dogs all the way, as if you couldn't tell by the two *giant* beasts (collie/retriever mix and a pit bull/boxer mix) I let sleep in my house, on my bed, and ocassionally on my lap. Not to say that we're not cat people, too! In fact I was just caught by FH sitting outside on the sidewalk giving the neighbor's cat my left over chicken nuggets from lunch today. Cats like Wendy's, too!

And dogs & cats can deifnitely live together. Irwin (my collie/retriever) was bff with the cat that lived downstairs for awhile. He let the cat eat his food and he won't let my other dog do that!

I am a dog lover... Buuuuut you also have to take into consideration will you be home enough to train, and take care of a dog. Puppys are a looooot of work, but worth it in the end. IMO

We are both dog people!! they are WAYYYYYYYYYYY beter then cats!! do you really wnat something living in your house tht goes to the bathroom in your house!! think about it!!!

We love both but we lean a little towards cats more. I've had cats my whole life.. Love cuddling with them. lol.

We are dog people but being in a co-op and not having a yard we got a mainecoon cat that is 17lbs which is almost like having a dog except I don't have to walk him. Rocco (my cat) fetches and comes when you call him...he is the best cat. Love him so much!
