Centerpiece dilema - Please help me decide before my florist kills me! W/ Poll and pic of ballroom

Centerpiece dilema - Please help me decide before my florist kills me! W/ Poll and pic of ballroom

My wedding colors are red and white.
My centerpiece is red and white roses with a other kinds of white flowers as well.

Well I saw a pic very similar to my cp but in all white ( same flowers and everything) and it looked amazing!!!! It just looks so 'weddingy' and makes it look even more full ( does that make sense?)

Now I am debating what I should do and would love to hear your opinions

* I am going to ask my hall if they even have red linens and see how it would look on the tables but I was talking more about white tablecloths and red napkins with red bows tied around the chairs.
ETA - I know this is hard to do without pics but I really need your help!

i love color table cloths - you get more wow out of them when you first walk in - so i say use red table cloths and all white flowers

I am going to call my hall and ask if that is an option!! I know its possible to to white table cloth and then red napkins and red bows around the chiars

White just looks soo nice in my hall I think.. I guess b/c its that gold color and it just compliments very nicely

I like white flowers with the red linens too. Are you talking about white underneath and red cloth covering it?

either or. At first I was thinking white underneath and then just red napkins and chair ties. BUT I want to go to my hall now and ask if they have red linens and see how they look in the room

I love the red linens/white flower idea! I went to a Sandcastle wedding in that room earlier this summer - she did light white & ivors with a dark table cloth...maybe navy or wine - don't recall & it was amazing! The room is very light & bright to begin with and the dark table cloths made the tables stand out & the flowers really pop!


ETA - Are you using United Floral in Great Neck?

i really like the idea of vibrant colored linens and white flowers ...so thats my choice

Personally I don't like colored linens. So my vote would be all white flowers and all white linens. I think it would look beautiful, just like the picture you posted.

Thanks that was so good to hear! I think I am going to have to go by there and see if they have a red table cloth I can put on to see... and of course I will take pics so I can show everyone!

I think you should go to your reception place and asked to put the colored linens and the way you posted on the pictures. Bring a few flowers in the colors that you are thinking and see how it looks. It might be the best in order to envision what you'd like to create. I really liked it the way you posted on the picture. JMO

I think white roses, red napkins and red ties on the chairs. I like the white with accent colors. I don't like the idea of red tablecloths with your hall colors. Too chaotic. I think the napkins and ties would provide enough punch.

I am using all white linens since my hall didn't have any purple shades. I did buy purple napkins though to add to the punch of color.
