My Ceremony starts at 2:30 and I want to make sure it starts at 2:30 sharp so we have enough time in between to not be rushed while at OWG. Should I put a quarter past two as my ceremony time?

Thanks...I didn't want to say a half hour because I have alot of family that would be there earlier than supposed to be I'm figuring 15 minutes is good to get those people (like myself) that are usually a fashionable 5-10 minutes late!

Oh, i didn't see that. I know that almost everyone is fashionably late, so i'm putting 6 on mine. but if most of your family will be there, then you're in good shape!

I lied I put 5:15 on the invite but it doesn't start till 5:30 I'm having my ceremony at the RH and they told me not to put 1/2 hour before because then people show up 45-60 minutes early

Re: Ceremony time...to lie or not to lie????
I need to walk down the aisle at EXACTLY 6:30, not a second later, so I put 6:15 on my invites. Didn't want to put 6 because I didn't want the early-comers to get there any earlier than 6 pm.

definatly do 1./2 hour early- even though you will have some family that will ve on time/ early you should still figure those that always run later!

i was thinking the same thing about guests who do arrive early but 15 minutes is good.

I'm going to lie about it. We haven't decided whether we are putting 6 or 6:15 (ceremony actually starts at 6:30). There is a really nice bar that our guests can go to downstairs if they get there early.

I posted about this too- lol... We didn't put an earlier time on the invite but asked the church if we can start 10-15 min late.... We are also going to stress to friend's and family 3PM sharp!! LOL
