My Ceremony starts at 2:30 and I want to make sure it starts at 2:30 sharp so we have enough time in between to not be rushed while at OWG. Should I put a quarter past two as my ceremony time?

I posted about this too- lol... We didn't put an earlier time on the invite but asked the church if we can start 10-15 min late.... We are also going to stress to friend's and family 3PM sharp!! LOL
after you posted this i am stealing your idea hahahaha thanks for the tip date twin. I decided to do this because there are guests who do arrive early and if i put an even earlier ceremony time then they'll be waiting for a while. So i am gonna ask the priest to start 15 minutes late...knowing me though, I'll be the one who is late

I might even be 'fashionably late' 5-10 min to the church just to make sure it starts late... Have to wait for the bride, right??

Re: Ceremony time...to lie or not to lie????
yea see I can't start late because there's a wedding RIGHT AFTER mine. And we're having a full mass so we HAVE TO start at 3- the other wedding is at 4:30. I'm going to put 2:45 on the invites. I don't think 15 mins is going to make or break anyone

My RH contract states you have to put the actual time on the invitation, and require a copy of the invitation. I'm going to urge everyone to get there early (and our shuttle from the hotel will get them there early), and if anyone's late, they will miss the ceremony (we're starting on time!).

I am totally lying. I put 12:45 on my invitation, but it actually starts at 1pm. I will not be waiting for nayone to start (lol). I am getting married at the Botanical Garden and there are time restrictions there, so I wanted everyone to be on time.

I lied I put 5:15 on the invite but it doesn't start till 5:30 I'm having my ceremony at the RH and they told me not to put 1/2 hour before because then people show up 45-60 minutes early
that is what i think we are going to do....put 15 minutes earlier....b/c i dont want to punish the people who show up on time or show up early

LIE LIE LIE!!!! LIE like a rug!!
I would put 2:00 for a 2:30 ceremony.
We put 11:30 for a 12:00 ceremony...just in case
You dont want ppl interupting and walking in late
ETS- but our familys are usually late AND we are getting married at the RH and they are setting up a coffee/welcome reception for the early birds.

Re: Ceremony time...to lie or not to lie????
We put 11am on the invite because the hall has champagne and strawberries when everyone arrives, people always run late, and it gives people time to get settled. This way we can start at 11:30 sharp.

My ceremony is 5:30, i put 5:00 on the invite
i did the same. even if people are late then they will be on time for the 'real' time.
