Chocolate brown chiffron bridemaid dresses?!

I'm considering a dark chocolate brown chiffron dress for the bridesmaids but the problem is, it seems that the fabric appears different under different lighting. I am not worried about my photographers pictures, I just don't want the girls to appear in weird shades in guests' pictures. Did anyone use a dark chocolate brown chiffron dress for the girls? How did it work out in terms of the non professional pics?

I am using that color and in chiffon also. I don't know how they will come out, but I wouldn't worry to much about it. I'm sure your girls won't even think about it. It's very sweet of you to think of them--I'm sure if won't be a big deal. Also many non pro pics are not of the whole body, just faces or dancing.

I wore a choc brown bm dress last weekens at a wedding and they looked beautiful! The pics are great too. Ill try to post one here, but if it doesnt work, take my word for it. They were gorgeous!!!

My friend just got married and the MOH wore a one-shoulder Jim Hjelm chiffon gown- it was outrageous! The other BM's wore different dresses froma different brand, and they did appear different in ALL pics- not just the non-pro. I'd just make sure the dresses are in the same fabric from the same designer, and everything should look fine. The brown chiffon by itself, though, looked great in pics. Good luck!

hi..

i am using chocolate brown as well...and i was worried that the dresses will look black in pictures..and it probably would in some ppl's pictures..I even considered not using this color and to something lighter..but every time I go dress shopping, it's the only color that seems right..so I got it anyway..black isn't that bad..

so far, the only chocolate brown that i've seen pictures of that don't come out looking brown is the Bill Levkoff Sable Satin...good luck!

Thanks girls for your feedback. It makes it a lot easier. The chiffon dress I'm considering is the Hannah by Jenny Yoo. Let me know if you know the dress!
