My FSIL handed out navy blue christmas balls with silver writing on them. It had their names and the date on them. They were a big hit!!

Re: Christmas Ornaments
We're doing 'Plantable Snowflake Ornaments'These hand molded paper ornaments grow wildflowers when planted.
Poem on back says: 'This is a keepsake to remember this day. When it gets worn don't throw it away. Plant it in the garden and as soon as you know, just like our love, the flowers will grow.'
Includes a personalized label.

Re: Christmas Ornaments
Also getting married around Christmas.
and also doing ornaments of some sort. We will be hitting Macy's as soon as the big sales start. I want them to be somewhat uniform so we wont wait too long so we can have enough to choose from.
PS my planner is also thinking of having an actual tree at the reception. She would decorate it etc and put some gift boxes around. I really want the Christmasy feel.
What do you guys think?

Re: Christmas Ornaments
I saw really cute Snowman BRIDE & GROOM ornaments in the General Store (?) at the Millridge Inn (they have the little shops near the restaurant.. I think it was in the General Store). They were frosted glass ornaments and they come in a clear case. The manager was soooo nice and told me that he can order them in bulk for a really good price (less than $2 each!!) but I informed him that I am getting married in July and Christmas ornaments wouldn't really go for a summer wedding.
He gave me a free wedding planner anyway... even though I didn't buy anything! I would definitely check them out.
