.Okay, so I just called the Disney reservation desk for restaurants, and the only time they have to eat at Cinderalla's Castle for dinner is at 4:10. Thats a bit early. We got the dining plan, so that uses up 2 out of our 5 sit down meals. My question is, is it really worth it? The pictures I found online of the place don't look really nice. FH and I are trying to find nice/romantic places to eat.
So far we've booked, Wolfgangs downtown (Wofgang is FH's idol, so that was a given.. ) and the coral reef at Epcot, because i told FH he had to plan a date, and he doesnt really know disney but he said the only thing he knows of disney was seeing that restaurant on Full House and it looked nice
I tried for Le Cellier, but thats ALL booked for the days we are there... What other nice restaurants do you recommend?
I know I want to do some of the fun ones too, like Prime Time Cafe, but thats not expensive, so we dont mind paying for that for lunch.
Okay this started out as one question and turned into many and i started rambling so i'm going to stop now.. Thanks for all those who beared with me here

Re: Cinderella Castle Dining Q?
We actually just did this in February. Honestly, the food was really good, but if I didn't have a 5 year old, I don't think it would have been worth it. We did the lunch, why don't you try that instead???

Thanks for the response. If its not worth it, i'd rather not waste 2 included meals on that one. There are a lot of kids there? We're trying to do the romantic and more expensive places that we dont necessarily have to pay extra for since we have the dining plan.

I agree. And it is romantic also. FH and I just went there last July. That is when we got engaged. We went to Coral Reef. It was really good and really expensive..lol That was our romantic dinner. I really like the Prime time cafe and the Sc-fi diner-this was our fav. They make good drinks there. We also went to the Irish rest. in Downtown disney. I really liked the food there. I can't remember the name of it. It is right by Pleasure Island though. Anything you need to know I love Disney so I know a lot about it...lol I also have the guide books if you want me to look something up.

okay, I work at the Magic Kingdom, and I am a photographer, part of the deparment does the pictures of Cinderella's Royal table.....its okay, its got a lot of kids and stuff so if you are looking for a romantic dinner for you, i wouldnt sugest it. If you are looking for something REALLY romantic and couples only, I sugest trying Victoria and Alberts in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It is an amazing resturant, they have a strict dres code but its worth it. FM me if you want more info or want any ideas :)

Thanks.. I remember you work there and was hoping you'd reply I've heard of Victoria and Alberts, but it isn't on the Dining Plan. We are trying to do the nice things with the plan and spend as little as we can since by the time we go it will almost be a year to the wedding. But thanks.. I think i'm ruling out Cinderella's Royal table now.. Is there anywhere else you suggest?

Jon and I went to the Coral Reef in EPCOT for our 2 year anniv and then went to go see Cirque du soileil at Downtown Disney. You can also try the Steakhouse in Canada Pavillion at EPCOT. ummm, California Grill at the Contemportary( very romantic at night, you can watch Wishes, the fireworks from your table up there), Ohana's at the Polynesian (more families) ummm Thats most of it off the top of my head....Does that help any?
When are u going too?

Re: Cinderella Castle Dining Q?
We're going from Sept 29th through Oct 4. I already have reservations at Wolfgang's Cafe in downtown disney on the 30th and at Coral Reef on the 3rd.
I tried to get Le Cellier (The steakhouse at Epcot), but they are all booked. Hmm if you suggest California grill i'll show FH and see what he thinks.. it is on the dining plan, and it would be nice to see the fireworks from there. Do you know if the shuttles from resorts take you to other resorts?

Aww thanks.. its very helpful 'knowing' someone on the inside that knows the details... I think we're pretty much covered right now.. we got our 4 day hopper with the extras and the dining plan. I like to be on TOP of everything so I am trying to make a Plan which is why I want to book the restaurants by tomorrow.. i like to know what i'm doing.

Keep calling back to see if anyone canceled for Le Cellier, it's our favorite place to eat at Disney. (I love steak)

personally i like toni's in the front of the park. its the best italian food but busy with kids for lunch. If you want to stay away from tons of kids then epcot's norway is kinda romantic, italy of course and canada. I boycot France so can't recommend that.

i'm not a fan of french food, except for their toast and fries so that wasnt really an option.. I'm a picky eater.. i'll look at the restaurants in Norway.. Thanks
