This is totally normal. It seems as if you have a lot going..on a Wedding and a big move! Just think you are marrying the man you love and want to spend the rest of your life with. Everything will be okay.

i've been feeling the same way. i moved to AZ with FH 3 yrs ago and now that we're getting married, no matter how unhappy i get here, i can't just leave and go back to NY anymore. it's scaring the sh#t out of me!! i'm fairly convinced it's cold feet though - but i'm honestly glad to hear i'm not the only one who feel this way

I'm in the same situation. FH lives in Florida and I will be moving there soon b/c I got a job their. It's normal to feel that way b/c u are leaving your comfort zone. Just think that this is a good change.

I was in a similar situation, but reversed (I lived in FL, FH lived in NY but we weren't engaged yet). It was scary moving away from my family and friends, and the first few months were very difficult, you have good days & bad days. But it gets easier after that. I chose my happiness over the comfort of my home & family, and I know I made the right choice. Don't worry, you will know what to do.

You're not alone...I think the fact that you're moving is more stressful to you now than actually getting married. Sometimes, although we know we have to do things, we always second guess it...and end up not doing them because of fear. Don't think about the move, and things should be fine. What are you afraid of (fearful)?!You'll be with the man you love and your wedding is going to be beautiful...just relax and enjoy!!!

This is absolutley normal!!!!!!! I have a hard time with the idea of leaving my apartment! I am very comfortable and even though I hit some bumps here and there I love my comfortability factor! You and your FH will be so happy together, just think of it as an adventure.

Re: Cold Feet??
Similar situation here: FH is finishing his masters in binghamton and then after the wedding we are moving to Albany. Yes not as far as you other girls, but four hours is not down the block. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am so close to my family.

Re: Cold Feet??
totally normal! I got married in February, and I remember a few weeks before, bursting into tears, ans saying....'what have I done to my life?'
YOu are taking this big step....and on top of that, you're being so selfless as to move to a totally different state...its scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It sounds to me like you really love him....so its for a greater/bigger cause. You're going to build a whole life together....its exciting...but scary, too!
This is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its totally normal to feel this way and ya know what else? Its OKAY......

It's totally normal! It's just a lot of stuff going on right now and getting married and moving away from your family are 2 huge things, but it'll all work out great. Just remember why you're doing it; to have a long and happy life together with your FH

Re: Cold Feet??
if your not really feeling good about moving, and dont want to do it than dont! i know i wouldnt want to leave and move somewhere away from my family. but thats a personal opinion, everyone is different. why cant your FH move to where you are instead? marriage is about compromise, and i think you should tell him how you feel. good luck!

Re: Cold Feet??
don t worry i think its normal... it'll take time getting used to it but you'll find a new group of people to be around with and soon you'll be calling FL home..change is hard.. its not easy.. its part of life... you and FH are going to be starting your lives together.. things will be okay.. my sis lives there.. yes it ***** because she is so far and our family is close but you get used to it.. she used to be miss NYC and now loves FL.. think the warm weather year round has sucked her in!! she loves calling us and saying how shes at the beach with the kids when we are digging our cars out of snow!!!

Re: Cold Feet??
My best friend did the EXACT same thing last year! She moved from here to Westin FL b/c her now DH had a business there and it was the smart thing to do for them. Once she got there, it took a while for her to develop her own life and some new friends (not that long, only a couple of months), but now she's happier than she's ever been!! Granted, she moved to a 5 bedroom mansion and her DH bought her a convertable mercedes BUT he's amazing and they're perfect for eachother and they're SO happy together! Plus!!!!!!!!!! WHY WOULD U WANNA STAY HERE IN THE GROSS COLD WEATHER WHEN U CAN GO TO FLORIDA AND GET A TAN?!!!

Re: Cold Feet??
I agree. It's totally normal. You are probably in overdrive right now so close to the wedding. And you're going to have a huge move on top of it. I would be honest with your FH so at least you guys can discuss it and see if this move is truly right for you. But I honestly believe all will work out. Try to take a day for yourself. Treat yourself to a massage or mani/pedi and just veg out. See if this helps at all and then you'll be able to think clearer! Good Luck!!
