Color Schemes
Have any of you ladies begun thinking about your color scheme? My wedding is in early June at The Vineyards, so spring or summer colors could work well. I think I want my BMs to wear dresses from Jcrew, so I'm using their color selections as options. I currently LOVE their 'Bright Coral' and 'Sunwashed Aqua' shades - both can be seen here: http://www.jcrew.com/wedding/Wedding_Bridesmaid/silkchiffon/PRDOVR~47993/47993.jspHow did you finally decide which colors to go with if you have already chosen? It's a bit overwhelming!

We will be using 'peacock inspired' colors. Navy, Royal Purple, Turquoise, Green Apple, Gold, and possibly Teal. The men will be in Navy Suits with Purple Ties and The girls will be in a royal purple. The other colors will be used as accents in flowers, menus, invites, etc.
Does that make sense?

I'm the week before you, and I'm doing very muted colors. The BMs will be wearing grey chiffon (possibly more like gunmetal), and the GM and groom will be wearing grey tuxes. All the flowers are white, ivory and either pale peach or pale pink. I think, since we're having our ceremony outdoors and that's where we'll take most of our pics, I didn't think we need bold colors since the background is so bold to begin with.I think coral or teal would be perfect!!

That sounds beautiful! I am actually leaning now towards a sunwashed coral - almost a nantucket red color - for the bridesmaid dresses with a white bouquet. I really like the muted idea you are doing! Really helps the outdoors stand out.

Our wedding is January, and we're doing black, ivory, and gold. (Our venue's room is all gold-toned, so the centerpiece bases will be gold) All the flowers will be different ivory shades. Men will be wearing black tuxes with black ties, girls will be wearing black BM dresses. Glam & classic :)

The coral is a brighter version of the color I want to use in my centerpieces for a pop of color if I go with the pale peach for my bouquets.
I think whichever one you go with, Jcrew always has great colors.

For our wedding in January we'll be doing deep dark jewel tones. My girls are wearing amethyst, deep magenta, dark jade, navy and black. Our accents are black and gold.

I'm doing very simple colors. Light grey and white. The BMs will be in light grey dresses and the flowers will be white with a touch of very light pink.

I'm using royal blue and orange because they are my favorite colors and I love the Mets. Its an October wedding but those would have been my colors no matter the season.

I used the colors of my favorite superhero. :D I'm so happy my fiance is ok with that. It represents my personality so well.

I was going for the same look as well, I'm doing a tiffany-ish blue and silver with some ivory as well. I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

I don't you necessarily have to stick with summer or spring color, just because your wedding falls in that season. Do a combo that you love!!My colors are cranberry, latte, and cream.
