I have been set on having my BP in a lilac or baby blue color. My dress is ivory (pic in my avitar) I picked out the tentative colors for the flowers this Saturday, and my bo-k is going to be varying shades of deep/bright pink (peonies, berry colored roses, pink hyacinth- no filler)
basically my question is...how much does the flowers and the dress have to match/coordinate...
the colors I have now for the BP's flowers are blue hydrangea, delphinium, and vandela roses....
Can I have this AND my pink bo-k? (as it stands, there is NO pink any where else)

You're fine! In the end, no one will notice if the colors match exactly. You're sticking to colors in the same family and that's just fine! Lillac and baby blue and pink are great together! Especially w/flower sb/c they're so close together! My CP's are mostly lillac w/bright magenta and my BP's are going to dark purples and other shades of purple...you're good to go!

Hmm, it's tough. Do you have pics to make this more visual? I'm not too good with flowers. You're supposed to stand out and your BoK different from the BM, so I think it would be ok. Just my opinion, good luck!

I'm crazy. I have it all matching. The colors are red and pink. The BM gowns are red and I'm in Ivory. But I think your colors will look lovely. Don't worry. I like the pink and blue compo

I wouldn't worry so much about it.. As long as you love it, thats all that matters! Everything doesn't have to be all matchy-matchy all the time. Variety is beautiful!

Now he is wondering if we can incorporate light yellow flowers in the CP's....I don't have yellow ANY WHERE!
He's so funny...and I really LOVE the IDEA that he is involved...the execution however is a little difficult at times...
I may change the BM's dress color to pale or butter yellow with berry pink sash (and reverse for the MOH) then change the vendela roses to light yellow roses or tulips and incorporate yellow in the CP's....uugggghhh...
I do love my baby....really, I do!

Your FI is too much Jessica! Just tell him that you know what will look best with your dress and since he can't see it... you can do whatever you want! good luck!!
