We stayed at the Wyndam Resort and Hotel outside of Disney World on that strip with all the hotels. We were about 3 miles from disney. I swear it was the best night of my life. After that we went to Bob Marley's club at MGM Studios and danced and drank the night away. Wow it was great.

My name is Lauren, my FH name is Travis. We met online in Sept. 2003, and had our first date on Nov. 16 2003 at the museum of Natural History.
We got engaged on Dec. 10 2004, it was perfect. We haven't known each other for as long as a lot of you, but we knew when we met we were meant to be together.
I am a teacher, Travis is an audio engineer. We are in the search of finding a hall, will hopefully be decided this weekend, we have a few more places to check out, and then we will be able to have a definite date, I am very excited about that!!

My name is Kim and have been engaged since June 24, 2004 and getting married in Sept 06 @ SandCastle. I live in Staten Island and FH lives in Bklyn (well he gets his mail there lol really sleeps at my house 24/7)

Finally we got our own board!!

I am so excited woohooo! It's getting closer!

I'm Jackie, FH is Pete. We have been together 6 years this past october. Got engaged in 2001, on my birthday at Northport Harbor while we were watching the sunset. FH is going into the police academy and I am a F/T student w/ a communication sciences and disorders major, I also work for a bank in collections.

So far I have my hall and gown (just in time too...just got discontinued). Nothing else for now. This summer we may start looking at photographers.

Funny thing was that I was just telling FH today 'wow, we are getting married next year'...it seems so far away, but the real planning starts in just a few more months, wow! He responded 'finally I have you all to myself!'

I'm Amy a full time college student (accounting major), and part time JP Morgan employee. I live in Queens, and FI is Chris, he is a submarine navigator for the US Navy. He is originally from Queens, currently stationed in Connecticut. He is away at sea right now for a couple of weeks and will be leaving on a 6-8 month deployment the end of February, so we will spend most of 2005 without seeing each other.

His not being around for most of 2005 is one of the major reasons that all of our vendors are booked already.

My name is Lisa and FI is Frank.

We got engaged almost two months ago.

All I have done is book the beautiful Floral Terrace for my wedding and my home parish for the church.

Things we know for sure are that we are going to have a slight theme of the 40's and Broadway.

For the church, since FI is a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of NJ, my dad (who is a volunteer FF in my town) is HOPEFULLY going to arrange for the firetrucks to come on by wailing their sirens....

I got the 'Do I have to get down on a knee?' - - but we were in the middle of the street at the time! Sometimes I think I should have said 'Yes - get on that knee!'.

Hi everyone! I'm Kathleen and my FH is Nick. I work for my family business doing accounting, marketing and sales for the aluminum industry. Nick is an accountant at PWC. We got engaged 9/3/04 and are getting married 9/3/06. It's my grandparent's 56th anniversary (right down to the actual day of the week), so I thought it would be a blessing to share it with them! We met in college and have been dating for almost 5 yr. We've been living together almost a year and a half.

He proposed to me in our apartment and it was a surprise. I got a three stone ring, so he had 3 HUGE balloons taking up the entire hallway so I couldn't see him and our dog (my baby tyson) on the other end. Each balloon had a card with 'past, present, future' on it with a little message about each time period in our lives and pictures of us on the balloons. It was very sweet :)

Engaged on 2/22/04 to FH-Steve. We have been together now 4 years,engaged after 3.
From Bethpage and work for insurance company. Fh is a PO for NYPD.

Very happy we got our OWN board. I guess me starting the ambush on 04 helped.

Within a matter of a few weeks I got engaged, signed a contract for a house and started school!! I decided I needed to concentrate on house first then wedding. That being said we are planning to get married summer of 06.

FH and I met in 7th grade and have been together on and off ever since !! We got engaged on 10-31-04 at Cedar Point amusement park on a skyride and I didn't get the down on one knee proposal either!! What is funny though is when I called to tell my parents (obviously they already knew) but, I asked my dad if FH had asked his permission to marry me and he kind of just laughed and said the FH TOLD him he was going to ask me not so much ASKED him!! I guess bc he has known my family for so long just felt right!!
