Here is why I am personally not a huge fan of the co-sleepers. I like to think of our bed as a place for DH and I. After you have children you don't have a lot of alone time or places of your own anymore. I feel like it will kill the romance in our relationship to have a baby inside (or hooked) to our bed. I plan on having a bassinet in our room for a few weeks and then move the baby to the crib in his/her own room. Also, my DH has to work after a week or two home with us and I will be home for 12 weeks. I don't think it is fair to him to have the baby crying in the bed all night when he has to work the next day. But I can understand why some people really love these co-sleepers, just not for us.

Re: comments on this?
I think they are cute. I had plan to cosleep but this weekend my husband let me know he is totally against it.
He said after two months max the baby is sleeping in its crib in the nursery.
I said ok.

I was never a fan of co-sleepers. First of all you will need to change that diaper, so you will be getting off your tush no matter what. Second of all, a bassinet is just fine, doesnt need to be attached to my bed.
