i know that people will complain about anything all my guests (ALL!!!!) are OTT i'm getting rooms in a motel 2 blocks away fron RH. it's not the TajMahal, it's just OK place on the beach front, kinda outdated.... BUT I'M PAYING FOR ALL ROOMS! so my guests better like it. it's free for them... if they don't like it they can go else where and pay $200/night
grrrrrrrr
vent is over
wow.... you are really a nice bride!!!! they should be kissing your feet for paying for the rooms!!! lol

Not yet but I'm sure I will! And don't feel bad, the East End is jacked up so mine are more $189 and $209 per night! And they are the only two major hotels in the area.. well now the Hilton but that is like $300 per night and it's booked anyway. But they have free shuttles though, so you know what, I don't even care, if they don't like it then can google and find a cheap motel and pay for a cab! Whatever! I really don't get why anyone would complain, people did their own research to find a hotel back in the day before hotel blocks... seriously, it's not that hard people. We didn't have to go through that trouble for you to get you FREE transportation so you can drink.
Ok..vent over lol

Don't stress...if they don't like it they don't have to stay there! You will not be able to please everyone...if you booked a cheap seedy place, you would probably get complaints about it after the wedding! Some people just like to complain!

I think that was a good price....most hotels seem to run betw $100 and $200. If people don't like it then they should look for something cheaper elsewhere, but I doubt they will find something close to your venue, on a sat evening in the summer, for less then that.

if they don't like it they can do their own reearch and find something else.
agree 100%. You are no way obligated to reserve rooms for guests, its more of a courtesy. If people are complaining about it, let them do their own search and book their own hotels. Dont even worry about it.
