Controversial Poll

Personally ours is great. We are both happier then we have been, I think it was hard initially getting used to each other in the first year.

Now we are getting along wonderfully and are headed to Jamiaca in two weeks!

I was actually surprised at how easy it was to adjust to living with someone for the first time. I love going home to him and spending all my time with him, and I am pretty sure he feels the same way.

I couldn't be happier!

I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life!!

I'm not going to lie, we have our ups and downs but what couple doesn't, you know.
We have been married for more than five years and we are actually renewing our vows next year. it takes work, but if you are willing than that's all that matters.

Whatever issues we have (and what couple doesn't) have not been HUGE ... nor do they have any affect on the stability of our relationship. We are solid, of that I am certain.

We're still in the honeymoon stage and just enjoying married life. ANd we are actually doing MUCH better now than we were pre-wedding.. the stress of the wedding and feeling like our lives were taken over by wedding planning WAS actually taking its toll on us in a bigger way

But its all good now

3.5 years of dating everything is great!! i cant wait to get married.
we have ups and downs like anyone else but we get through everything and find a way to laugh

We have lived together for 3 years now..
We have our ups and downs and get on each others nerves but nothing major at all...
and i pray it stays this way!

We're somewhere in between going great and having problems but sticking it out.

We both feel very strongly about what our vows meant and that there are only 2 things that would end our marriage.

I agree with butterfly. We feel very strongly about our vows. We both come from families where our parents have been together for over 25 years...they are our role models for staying strong and getting through our tough times.

BTW...This is a very interesting poll!!

As Jozie said...I feel like this because my parents are divorced and DH feels this way because while his parents have been together about 36 years, it's more of a moral/religious thing.

Everything is going really well. They say the first year is hard but it really hasn't been all that hard - adjusting to each other and living together anyway... adjusting to the fact that a baby is already on the way... well, that's another story.

I'm soaking up every minute of what we have right now because it's wonderful. But I am truly fearful for after two becomes three. DH is not concerned at all though. I can't help but be afraid of the unknown.

Hey Sandra, don't worry too much, you will do just fine.

Everything is going really well. Living together has been a huge adjustment and we both have our moments of frustration but I think it's a learning process for both of us. We don't fight in general, we're both pretty good at letting insignicant things go and knowing what not to do to upset the other person. We mesh well.
He's the love of my life, my partner and we both took our vows very seriously. We're in this together and are a FAMILY now and I think that distinction (over say boyfriend/girlfriend) solidifies our relationship and helps us put any issues we have into perspective. Problems are meant to be worked through and we do together!
