Controversial thread-My gf works at JFk and the other night she was telling how immigrants have
*one taken a dump in the middle of the airport (this seems to be pretty common among travelers) She said they just squat and let it all hang out * another man blew his nose into his hand and then threw it on the floor * anohter man tried to check in a suitcase filled with DOODIE-he stunk up the whole place
I was so skeeved out, what the hell is wrong with people
AND dont tell me about cultural differences because I will come to your house and take a crap on your front lawn

This is very disturbing...but doesn't really surprise. It saddens me that people, no matter who they are, could do things like this.

I was in Line in Disney World once and these people whip a pottie chair take a pi$$ and then dump it on the sidewalk ummm No. 1 thats nasty to take a pi$$ right there and no. 2 if u were going to just dump it on the sidewalk why did you bother with the pottie chair?

Actually I've seen a guy take a dump at a subway..(far from me) but my coworker unfortunately was standing right next to him. He wasn't homeless.. just drop drawers and dropped a load.
Blowing your nose into your hand and flicking at the floor.. Ever been to Astoria???? This is one of the first things I EVER saw when I moved to NYC. I COMPLETELY Freaked out.. started telling my then bf that this was the most disgusting city in the world. He told me its natural to them. NATURAL?? NASTY. I finally sort of got used to it. I just never walk near the edge of the sidewalks or in that spot between the curb and the street and I still slightly put off with Astoria.
AS far as the bag of doodie.. Well I guess he was told to 'Take your Crap with you' and thought we meant it?

LMAO...OMG....I'm at work so I have to contain myself. Too funny!
I used to coordinate conferences for Hofstra University and we did a conference ONE year and the attendees were seen all over campus washing their feet in the water fountains!! I have alot of respect for other cultures but you have to respect the predominant culture of where you are....

Last night FH and I were coming home after seeing Gypsy ( really good show by the way). We were walking to the end of the platform and some man was just in the center of the place taking a leak. Now, I am used to seeing such things but usually later in the evening and slightly less crowded.
PS I was particularly upset by this because I had to pee and had a 20 min. train ride before I could go.

This is America.. country of acceptance and a country that embraces other cultures.. free speech and free live and freedom to live by your own cultural standards.
I was also told: Your cultural habits may see disgusting to them.. ever think about that.
To that.. all I can say is.. there are days I REALLY miss Texas, but.. God Bless America, eh?

Yes your own cultural standard BUT not when they are unsanitary and downright disgusting, Feces is so contaminated. Do you know what you can get from that so I should get sick because someone decided they needed to take a crap in the middle of JFK I think not!
