Country wedding songs?????

Okay Ladies I can use some help. My FI and my Mom are dancing the Mother/Son dance and they both like Country music. I'd like to find a song that I can use for them. I'm not a Country fan so any ideas??? TIA!!!

hi,

i'm not a country music fan either - but i just went to a wedding and got a CD as a favor - and there are a few country songs on it -there's one called 'When you say nothing at all' and it's sung by a guy with a country music twang. sorry i dont have more info than that - the cd doesnt list the guy - but it's a lovely song

hi,

i'm not a country music fan either - but i just went to a wedding and got a CD as a favor - and there are a few country songs on it -there's one called 'When you say nothing at all' and it's sung by a guy with a country music twang. sorry i dont have more info than that - the cd doesnt list the guy - but it's a lovely song




there's a male version of that song by Ronan Keating, and the female version is by Allison Krauss

yeah.. he def. doesnt sound irish, but theres one part in his version that the music really sounds like irish music to me. I love his music haha when i was in Ireland i heard this song 'life is a roller coaster'.... its sooo cheesey, but its one of my favorite songs

'I Will Always Love You' was originally written and performed by Dolly Parton, so that might be a nice option. There's also another one called 'Letting Go'...not sure of the artist (definitely female) but I know I would probably break into tears if I heard it for the mother/son dance. Good luck finding one!

That's so sweet!!

I can't believe there's someone else outside of Europe who's heard of Ronan Keating - I know that 'Life is a Rollercoaster' song!! he's so cheesy but I think he's cute
