Well Mike and I are doing our best still!! We start our counselor tonight. I am so scared!!!! This is totally what is best for us, I simply cannot bare not being with him for the rest of my life. For those who dont know the situation, I kissed another guy, when Mike came home he knew there was a problem, he said whatever the issue is we can work it out, told him and that did not happen! He told the entire family. He was so upset thats just what he had to do! I cant judge him for how he deals with this tradgedy. But the fact that he wants me to win his heart back and agreeing to go to a couples counselor is a MIRACLE!! He is a great man. Think what you want of me, all opinions are welcome, good and bad. It has been a very slow day for me at work, I cant eat because I am so looking forward/scared of what this counselor may or maynot do for us. I know we all make mistakes but this has been UNBEARABLE for the both of us. Thanks for listening, I had to check out my 07 ladies, miss you all!!!

UPDATE*** She was horrible!!! Totally not what we needed, but it brought us closer b/c she ripped me a new one so bad Mike was like shut up beotch! You know us 50 minutes! I felt so bad for the couple going after us she was a QUACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We laughed all night about what she said

Honesty is the best policy, and all relationships are based on trust. Telling him the truth was the best thing that you could have done.
You will def be in my prayers. I have faith that everything will work out. love conquers all - and it looks like you two love one another to work things through.

Kris, I hope the counseling help and it sounds like Mike wants your relationship to work, You were honest about what happened and I believe that is very noble of you. I think that after all this is said and done it will make you and Mike stronger than ever before. Good Luck!

I totally feel for you..I really do..but to call it a 'tragedy' is a little much...there are people everyday dealing with real-life tragedies..I wish you the best, I really do, but call it what it is, a bad decision!!

We all have made a mistake or two or three so please don't be ashamed. It's apart of life and you could of lied and you didn't. You are a better person for that. Good Luck
We all make mistakes, but the fact that you were honest with your fh says a lot about you. I really hope everything works out! Lots of luck to you guys.
I'm glad things are working out for the both of you. You are a very lucky woman to have the kind of man you do. I know that if I ever found out FH kissed another girl he would be out the door faster than he could say sorry. That is one thing I don't tolerate. That is in my relationship. I know that people deal with this situation all the time and people think and do things differently. What is OK for me may not be for you and vice versa.
But I have to ask you this....if you are so in love with your FH then why would you kiss another man?
Just something to think about. Again, not judging you or your relationship. I don't judge people until i'm perfect and that's not a possibility.

Honesty is the BEST way to start. Sometimes we make mistakes (we're human!) but telling mike what happened is probably the best decision you could make right now. My FH Steve and I have always been honest with each other... even when it hurts. Love brings with it a TON of emotions. When you love someone, you have to let them feel EVERYTHING... whether its good or bad. By telling Mike, you're allowing him to feel what he's supposed to feel right now... anger, sadness, some fear. But by letting him feel that, you give him the oppotunity to overcome that feeling, and to cope with it. If you hadn't told him.. he'd never have the chance to forgive you. I honestly believe that you're making your relationship stronger by going through this. You're letting him feel evreything he needs to feel right now... and hopefully with time those bad feelings with be replaced with forgiveness, and he'll love you more than ever.

Counseling is a great thing and hopefully it will help mend what is broken and make your relationship alot stronger.

I know I don't know you but I just wanted to say that you have strength and that you have to keep your head up and fight for your FH!! We all make mistakes but the fact of the matter is you told him the truth which was probably one of the hardest things you've ever had to do. For that fact alone you have a good heart!
