Hello All!!!

I just booked Crest Hollow for 9-5-10. There is no thread on here for Crest Hollow brides so I thought I would start one!!

We will be havinh our cocktail party outside and reception in the Starlight room. Our ceremony is in Cure of Ars church in Merrick.

I booked my hotel blocks at the 4 Points by Sheraton. They offer a shuttle. The Hilton also offers a shuttle. They are not that far from the Crest Hollow.

Which hilton??

im spending my day off looking for hotels. i just looked up the rates for this hilton...can it seriously be $400 a night?????

so far i found the Sheraton in planview that offers a shuttle and the Executive Inn across the street also offers a shuttle....anyone else find any other hotels w/ shuttle??

$400?!?! That's crazy!! I would just drive down Jericho Turnpike starting at the 135 exit...there are a few on the way to Crest Hollow....

Please let me know what you are quoted...I have tons of OOT guests and need to find somewhere relatively inexpensive with a shuttle...thanks!!

deff not 400 you have to talk to sales and they give you a blocked room rate

ok so i just called four of them and they all said that they do not make reservations more than a year in adavnce

i really wanted to do this now since i have so many people staying over...o well ill just anxiously wait until july lol

its probably too late but....

im a little concerned as to where my CH will be. I booked it outside by the pool...but now im thinking what if it rains???? do i have a say in what room we have if its inside??? i really wish i thought of this before i signed the contract !!!

It would most likely be the Emerald Room...if you're going on the 27th, ask them then...I'll probably do the same

Has anyone been to a showcase at CH? Is there food? It sounds like an odd question but I went to a showcase somewhere else, didnt eat and ended up starving because they didnt have food or drinks. I figured there would have been food there but there wasnt. I just want to be prepared this time and eat beforehand if there isnt.

Hey Girls,
Kind of a silly question- how often do you talk to your Banquet Manager? I haven't spoken to her at all really--and then I called the other day and wanted to work out some details- like the menu, logistics of the day etc..but she told me that they are only working on March weddings and she told me she would call me in a few weeks
is that normal?

I think that's pretty normal...unless you had specific questions there's really nothing to discuss until you talk about logistics

Oh Good! I was getting pretty bummed that FH hasn't really been able to go to a lot of things with me because our work schedules are so different.

We will have about a hour...I'm hoping it's enough...worse comes to worse we miss some of the ch...just a few at the church but the majority at Crest Hollow
