Im going with one of my bridesmaids. I dont think its weird. Then again I have no choice since FH is in Iraq. Either way, I think its fine.

Yeah its a pain. Luckily I have good friends who help with the planning. The hardest thing is having to run everything by him through email. Its hard for him to really make decisions since he isnt here to see anything. Yeah, this website is awesome. I know nothing about wedding planning or anything and this helps a ton. Once he's back in June though, hes in for it lol.

Hey Girls,
Kind of a silly question- how often do you talk to your Banquet Manager? I haven't spoken to her at all really--and then I called the other day and wanted to work out some details- like the menu, logistics of the day etc..but she told me that they are only working on March weddings and she told me she would call me in a few weeks
is that normal?

I'm getting married in March and Crest Hollow just called me last week to set up an appt. with them to go over the menu, cake, etc. My appt is next Thursday....I can't wait!!!

Ladies I just spoke to Crest Hollow about the Showcase on Tuesday night.....there are only going to be 5 vendors and the woman said no food!!! I was upset about that because I have to set my menu this Thursday night and I have never tasted their food before!!!!!!!! I'm not going to the showcase because I obviously already have all my vendors since the wedding is in 61 days!!!! The woman said it's only an hour and a half and it's going to be very small and intimate. Good Luck to those of you that decide to go!! I'm now waiting for my Banquet Manager to call me back to see if we can set up a food tasting on Thursday while I'm deciding on the menu

Awwww....that stinks!!! Let us know what they say about the food tasting...I vaguely remember them saying they don't do one?!?! I'm really just going to show my bm's the place....and also to look at Pedestile Flowers...we'll probably stay for a little bit than go out somewhere else!!

I haven't really looked into yet...but will want to meet with the bakery at some point to discuss what I want and how much extra it would be. I wanted a square cake and they only offer round...so things like that...

lol i kept looking around thinking,'are they on LIW?, Are they?' ...i guess i didnt look hard enough! but yeah i thought it was small too...i wouldnt book the dj based on last night but when we talked to him i liked what he had to say :)

Girls,

Please tell me about the showcase... I didnt' realize that I had my first night of class that night so I couldn't go!

Hope it was fun... also, how did you guys find out about it? Is there another one coming soon?
