Girls,

Please tell me about the showcase... I didnt' realize that I had my first night of class that night so I couldn't go!

Hope it was fun... also, how did you guys find out about it? Is there another one coming soon?

I called and they told me about it...There should be another in Feb...

There was one vendor from each category of the recommended vendors
Photographer - Sherwood Triart
DJ- NYU Entertainment
Florist- Pedestiles

That may be it...I feel like I'm missing one or two...

I really wanted to go and show my BM's the room so that was why we went

Lori you didnt miss any...that was it!! They had an open bar and the vendors wer there to show you pics and answer any questions. They didnt answer any pricing questions though...they all said you need to make an appointment and look through the many different packages they offer
I also went to show my MOH the room but ofcourse we couldnt bc there was a party going on in there...oh well...maybe at the next one!

They should have mailed you a notice!! i got two!! talk to the person you booked with and tell them to notify you when they are having another one!!!

I see all that info is in your review

I wanted to use the same color bm's you did...they look great!!! What color ties and vests were the gm in?

Supposedly they were pink, however when they arrived they looked coral in person. On pictures they matched though so I didn't care.

I wish I could have gone. I was supposed to be there an of course the girl who was supposed to cover my shift at work that night cancelled the day before. So unfortunately I was at work all night. How was it?

I was just looking at that thread and thought it was incredibly rude of some girls to write those things. It is one thing to state that a particular venue is not your preference but to bash it the way some did is DOWN RIGHT RUDE!
I, personally, would never bash any venue/vendor on here out of the respect for others that may have booked it. I would just SIMPLY state if I liked the venue or not. JMO

Don't worry girls. We have a beautiful place and will have a beautiful wedding.

Wanted to see how eveything went with your appt we havent heard from you...

Everything went well with the setting of the menu....it actually got me really excited!!!! We are having tons of food and we added the Vienese Hour!!!!! We also added the chocolate fountain!!!!! I am having a candy bar as well....so no one will be leaving this wedding hungry. I had so many requests and Helen assured me that I can have whatever I want!!!!! So far I love CHCC!!!!!!!!!!! I also love the new bakery they chose! I actually went there last weekend and bought some small pieces of cake to taste them....let me just say AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My next appointment with them is March 20th....final payment due and I can start bringing all my stuff there!!!!! So far I have about 17 boxes!!!!!

I truly feel we have nothing to worry about and no one's rude post is going to ruin my excitement about CHCC!!!!
