How would you feel if your FH bought your e-ring from Wal-mart or Costco?
Would you rather have a 4 ct ring from costco or a 2 carat from tiffany?
(note: studies show that costco diamonds are just as good if not better than tiffany diamonds when it comes to the 3 C's)

I dont think Id want 4 ct regardless but I would actually prefer he saved money. I dont want to pay for the tiffany. SInce his money and my money will be our money, I would be happy to know he got a deal. I am frugal.

I honestly dont think I'd care either way. Actually, before he went and actually bought a ring we went on the costco website looking at rings (and i'd look at them in the store as well) and they were NICE rings. We dont have a lot of money, so if it was going to save him some, i'd say why not

Actually the jewelry from places like BJ's is very high quality! I'd have no issue with it. Walmart, eh. Whatever, as long as its pretty who cares!

I definitely wouldn't care if he got a ring from a store like that...before we were engaged, I actually saw a ring that I really loved at BJ's....

Hmmn, I'm the odd bride out. Since we're having a Jewish Ceremony, it's preferred that we use plan gold bands, since a break in the band symbolizes a break in the bond, we're getting plain gold bands, we can get them anywhere even Costco I'm sure, but we're getting them from Tiffany. I'm the type of girl that appreciates that Not that a wedding band would be any less special to me if it came from Costco, it's just a preference for us, to spend a lil more and have Tiffany wedding bands. We also have a small registry at Tiffany, we like the store.
eta: I have nothing against Costco, we just ordered our invites from them.

I guess I'm truly an odd girl out. I'd honestly be offended. Call me crazy. My fiance went to an estate jeweler and got an amazing deal. He knows my style and I have a beautiful ring with history.
I guess I don't have a huge problem with COSTCO, but my FH knows the very mentioning of the name Walmart makes me cringe.

FH got my ering from Costco. I actually TOLD him that if and when he was going to propose to me that I wanted it from Costco, the quality is VERY good there and their prices are great, I wanted FH to have as much money after the proposal that we would have enough money for the wedding and for a down payment for a house. I get compliments on my ring all the time!!!!

Thank goodness. I felt like a snob typing that before, but I really cannot stand that store. Any company that exploits their workforce like they do makes me sick.

A diamond is still a diamond whether from Costco or Zales.

If they were the same price, the 4 carat! Tiffany's stuff is soooo overpriced!

obviously the diamond doesnt really matter but if you going for quality and its the same- why not

I did a lot of research on this and Costco only sells great quality diamonds, you get a lot better quality for less money. I wouldn't have had a problem with it at all!

What I saw on the Michael Moore Movie, and how the store completly neglected social responsibility in regards to Columbine

Exactly. I'm not even the biggest Michael Moore fan either. He has his own faults and agenda as well, but Walmart has too many black marks for my liking. I'd rather pay more for something knowing that the company does right by their employees and their customers.
