Curious: e-ring from costco? ...

who cares where its from?

i know someone with a ring from costco and its GORGEOUS - i think FH may have looked at Costco diamonds as well - we heard they sell good quality diamonds and we looked them up on the web once.....i wouldnt care at all where FH got my engagement ring - i wouldnt love my ring anymore or anyless......i think its smart to shop around and if you found a better quality diamond for a better price i think it would be foolish not to purchase it just because it was from costco.....

I don't think I would mind....my FH did so much research and shopping around, he was so proud of his purchase and his negotiating....so as long as he still felt great about it, I wouldn't care!

i totally agree! my FH was the same way. he was so happy and excited and afterwards he told me all the stories about his search for the right diamond im just glad he chose me to be his wife

seriously! they carry the same brands as other stores and sometimes charge half of what their competitors charge.

I know all about the politics involved, but honestly, no one is forced to work there, and I don't have a ton of money to spend elsewhere.... I'm political, and I fight battles... this just isn't one i picked to fight.

Honestyly, when FH was ring searching he told me he did go to Tiffany's and he was actually offended by the way that they insisted that he HAD to buy his diamond from them. He had already gotten quotes from other jewelers on rings that were a better quality and Tiffany was charging A LOT more just for their label. Tiffany's is just a prestigous name and unless you are going to wear that blue box on your finger as well, no one is going to be able to tell
I am more than happy with my e-ring because FH told me all of his ring hunting stories and I think it is SO cute when I picture him going around and looking at what he felt was the perfect ring for me. Plus, I had shown him a picture of something I liked and the salesperson at Tiffany's was trying to convince him that it could not be made and kept trying to get him to buy something else that was 'similar'. Well let me tell you, he found someone to do it and it's even BETTER than the picture and the fact that he wasnt willing to settle means more to me than the box the ring came in.

I definately agree...when you pay for a 'name brand' anything..your always paying for the name!! nothing else..its so pointless

well, there is a big difference from costco and walmart
costco has some very pretty jewelry

Walmart has some very pretty jewelry as well.

I'm not commenting on their diamonds bc i never looked into them, but they do have pretty jewelry.
