Curls

Curls

Okay...after 2 hair trials and a lot of money spent... I am still unsure about what to do!!!

At the first trial my hair curls looked stringy.

At the second trial the girl did curls sooo tight and my hair that is normally down to my boobs went up to my shoulders! I said I like the look of loose curls and she said that she does them tight because by the time I get married the curls will be very loose.
Is this really the case? I was brushing my fingers though my hair to make the curls looser and longer but I really didn't like the initial look.

Suggestions???

i love number 2!!! very nice! and it will definitely be looser by the time you get married.... my friends hairdresser did the same thing for her hair, and it looked great.

If you have normally straight hair then yes, the curls will drop. At least this is what I was told by every stylist that has ever done my hair.

I have the same issue because I want my hair to be the same way, and I have pin straight hair!!

so are you going to get tight curls when you get your hair done then expect that they will loosen as the day goes on?

I do have long straight hair yes...

#2 looks so much better!!! I agree that #1 doesn't look very good at all. How did your hair react that day? Did it loosen as the day went on? I think #2 looks really nice

Re: Hair Trial Curls

It looks like your stylist used a curling iron to curl your hair, therefore giving you the tight curls.

You may want to ask her to set your hair in rollers instead, this will give you the full soft curl instead of the corkscrews

My stylist did the same thing, this is how I know..... I wanted full romantic curls, not Shirley Temple's!!!!

Interesting....I asked her if she could use a larger curling iron for bigger curls but she didnt say anything about rollers...

I like #2. Did you try telling your stylist to use a big curling iron?

Re: Hair Trial Curls

I went to my friend upstate, that's where I'm getting married, but you should really use the rollers, the curling iron will only give you those ringlets, and if you set it, the curls should last longer.....

Re: Hair Trial Curls

I'm still debating. I may experiment with it myself some before committing to the roller. I had my hair done late, (7pm) so I didn't get to really test it. I should schedule my appointment for earlier, so that I can see how it holds up.

I'm going to try the roller thing myself!!
