My BM went there a month before the wedding and they told her the dress would not be ready in time. Luckily, my BM was a force to be reckoned with. But they still ruined her dress beyond. Not only was it tooooo small, they also put a very obvious run in it.

I bought my dress from David's and heard the same horror stories.

Luckily, the LIW girls I've spoken to at the GTGs swear by Phyllis at Gownfind.

I went to see Phyllis at the start of June to get a free estimation, her cost was phenomenal and I ended up going with her and finishing my alterations on the spot!!!

Who is this magical woman??

OK, I have my 1st fitting on Monday and reading all these posts I am freaking out!!! I don't want them to butcher my dress but don't know where else to go!!

HELP!!

Her name is Malacia N. Anderson

She wass truly FANTASTIC! Other sales people where flitting about and trying to give me their opions, and they where WAY OFF She held her ground and protected me! One woman told me the dress both Malacia and I did not like was 'GREAT' she was full of sh*t. Malacia simply said 'It makes her look hippy, don't you see that-I LOVE HER!
