Re: day of shoes?
I just went to the dyables section and found a pair that match my dress perfectly. Was having a hard time because my dress is not white or ivory-it's somewhere in between.

myglassslipper.com
I wanted a particular Grace shoe and this was one of the only places I could order it from in my size.
those are cute ... i tried something like that on today in patchogue. i don't wear heels too often (or too well for that matter!) so i'm trying to stick with a lower and wider one, if possible. and now i'm debating between open toe or closed toe.

Re: day of shoes?
This was the only place that I found that had a return policy on bridal shoes, 10 days for returns or exchanges.
I did go to RK Bridal and try on a similar shoe by the same designer in my size, just to get a feel of it. I also wanted to see the color in person, because I ordered a dark champagne colored shoe to match my dress.
eta to add pic - I need a low heel in a size 10. Not easy to find something without it looking to matronly.
I have 2 pairs-- my 'bridal' pair was from J crew & my pink pair was from century 21

I bought mine at Craft Shoes in Commack.

Yeah, I wanted something much much lower, but I just didn't see anything that I liked. These were surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in. I am also going to get a pair of slippers to wear later on in the evening b/c my feet hurt at the end of every day, no matter what. But I do love the pointed toe of these, which is what attracted me to them.
The other tricky thing is that with our date, we could get a 65 degree day, or we could get 35. Hard to tell. There were some very cute peep toe ones at Craft too. They had well over 150 different styles of bridal shoes. It was a bit overwhelming at first.

Re: day of shoes?
I have fun shoes to wear at the reception, but the shoes for the ceremony are satin flats (slippers) from Sandy's Shoes on Sunrise Hwy
