Dear instant coffee,

You just aren't 'doing it' for me anymore. I want a divorce.

Hearts,
wish i could afford starbucks

:lolIs it $5 a cup yet??

It's RIDICULOUS. I refuse to pay that much for coffee. Besides I'm a dunkin donuts gal anyway. But yes, Matilde, it is the powder stuff. Gross, eh?

But it only takes a few seconds to make!

I seriously JUST had a conversation about this stuff - i didnt think anyone actually drank it - i thought it was for recipes and stuff. . .you HAVE to just make your own coffee in the morning and bring it - please, do it for me!

sorry i am italian - i am a coffee snob. . .

Dear Bridesmaid:

It makes me SO incredibly happy to hear that you are trying to make bets with everyone you know that you will be getting married before me and that 'there will be two weddings in 2008.' Thats very cute. Except you have been dating this guy for two months.

I also would like you to stop criticizing the size of the dance floor in my hall or otherwise comment on how 'it is going to be for you.' When we get to your wedding, we can get excited about it. Also I really REALLY appreciated that comment about 'you won't have to worry about money b/c my bf works at Merrill' knowing full well FH does not. Let me say it again: TWO MONTHS. If he is talking about marriage do you think (gasp) it could be b/c he wants to get in your pants??

My final words are: good luck finding a free 2008 date in fall of 2007 (your estimated time of engagement). also you will pay through the nose for vendors cause you won't have time to shop around/haggle. HA!

Holy harsh....but that's the purpose of the thread!!!!!!

But actually last minute weddings more times that not get better deals because vendors want to fill open dates/time slots...better to get a little less money for that time than not have it filled at all

Dear Professor

I know you are just doing your 'job' but do you really think your class is the center of my life. HELLO I AM TRYING TO PLAN A WEDDING HERE. I have very little time for your power point presentations and insane assignments. I am letting your know that I think about flowers, dresses FH and stare at my ring as you lecture on and on about your class.

Sincerely
A bride to be!!!

Dear Principal, AP, and Dean,

Please do not leave the building at the same time. No, I don't care that you all have to go to court. Please, Please, PLEASE do not leave the social worker and I to run the building. At least not without a large bottle of Pinot.

~The Guidance Counselor

Dear Lunatic Parent,

Do not scream or curse at me. Do not scream or curse at the secretarial staff. You do not want to force me to call security. No, you may not barge in on teachers while they are teaching and insist upon seeing their grade books and attendance records. No, you cannot wait in my office, screaming, for the principal to return from court. Instead, I suggest that you state, at a reasonable volume, what it is that you need. If you are incapable of doing this, get the fark out of my building.

~The Guidance Counselor

ETA: sorry, I needed to get that out of my system. I had a hell of a day.

Dear Sushi,

Why must you be so delicious? Now I have to eat you everyday and drive myself into the poorhouse, because you cant help to control your sushigoodness.

-Broke and hungry

Dear Alvin,

Why did you offer the fugi roll? Why do you have to be so nice that I cant help but go to the bar and stuff my face while I talk to you about how stupid FH is? Please choose another profession, because you as a sushi chef is detremental to my waistline and my wallet.

Re: Dear...

dear person on the BHb boards

do you have to have the last word on any opinion that anybody ever has..or when someone gives advice..do you always have to use your expierence as to why you are right and they should do what you did because you KNOW EVERYTHING?

some people call it being helpful..

but i can not stand it..

Dear Stomach Virus:

THANK YOU for finally going away. Causing me 48-hours of tummy pain, cramps, sweats and chills was not fun. However, I did catch up on my sleep and daytime TV-shows.

Sincerely,

Finally able to eat again!

Re: Dear...

Dear Long Island,
Thank You for being so expensive to live on. Your taxes are high, your houses are way too expensive and so is the gas. This is ridiculous how can any young couple afford to live here. What I can afford here is a 1 or 2 bedroom 1 bath. For the same price I can get a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath a full basement, garage and a pool in Rochester NY and anywhere down south. But why do you make such a huge difference in the same state. Your saying there is no room but you want to keep the young here. Your not helping us. WE CAN'T AFFORD TO LIVE ON THIS ISLAND. Please fix it otherwise i will be forced to move!!!!
