I have moving stories...STS or State to State Van Lines - don't use them if you like your things...or go ahead and use them...if you want your sh!t broken and deliveries at 1am on a Sunday!!!

I guess to keep 'positive' I'll say that I would much rather have a problem with the moving company than with the bank...at least we live in our own home...but Sunday was not pretty!! We got into a huge argument and they had to come by on Monday (yesterday) so DH and I had to take off from our new jobs...and the condition of some of our stuff was so sad. The move was too smooth...I guess something had to go wrong.
they're insured, so they WILL be compensating you for your damaged belongings, right?!

I have yet to hear of someone having a positive experience with movers!

on another note, I miss you!

The insurance? A joke!! But at least it's over with.

I was about to say--wait, someone. Come back. I just noticed this thread. It is after 5pm. I still have to work. I'm freeezing though. I am having thermostat wars with the office next door. There's just a few office on this floor and I usually win the thermostat wars just because I work the most hours. So, I was thinking of turning up the heat real high, leaving and coming bakc when it is toasty. So, will y'all be here to entertain me this evening? I'm a lurker of all your stories ya know!

I'm here. I officially end work at 5pm, but DH and I carpool and he ends at 6:25pm...so I stick around and surf the net.

Looking for lawn mowers and tractors now. Fun!!
