I wanted to start a new post, as the other one has nothing to do with me. I'm sorry to see what was going on, but didn't feel the need to jump in on something that had nothing to do with me.

Just as anyone else, I was checking in and thought I'd read it to see if it was a topic I knew anything about or could learn from.

I thought this NWR board was a good thing. I mean, a common thing in our lives brought us all here to this site. It's a good thing and you can learn a lot here, as well as make some good friends along the way. There is a lot of support here, not just for anyone's upcoming wedding. I've found that NYPD fiancee's and wives can support one another, which I think is awesome! I've seen that if someone has a serious topic in life, there are a lot of unbiased opinions that you can receive for advise. Life throws us all a curve ball once and again, it's nice to have a community to ask for advise.

However, I think this high school non-sense has really just got out of hand. If anyone wants to post how they chipped a nail today, or they won't be on b/c they got a flat tire on the way to work- write your personal friends. I'm not trying to make rules, I'm just asking for everyone to use some F*cking common sense! Oh, I was cleaning a garage and I missed this. If someone starts trouble and there's a little controversary, let them work it out!!!! If we're suppose to be grown women here- start acting like it. Don't waste my time, if I'm trying to look and see what wedding things are going on, or what else we can learn from eachother about how your dog at the cat food today.

You can all reply to this and curse me out if you like. I too- just wrote my opinion. No need to suggest the wedding 'police' are on the way, no need to say 'oh, I got your back' Just start a new post that actually makes sense. Something that either everyone might be interested in..... or write your friends and FM, isn't that what it's there for?

For all the other girls who read this and I wasted your time, I'm sorry, I'm just sick of the non-sense.

Can you guys not turn this thread into another drama thread... That's wasn't mv's original point.

I think a bunch of us are tired of all the drama going on on these boards.

R&T did start a thread about her girlfriend who had a serious issue. My heart goes out to her friend and I hope that through the girls here, perhaps she found some solid advise for her friend.

To respond you have a lot of friends how your mailbox is over-flooded- you obviously are missing my entire point. You don't have to get defensive about everything, it's not all about YOU.

Answering people w/ non-sense. I didn't start this post to start drama.
Maybe you can be mature and say something like, ok, I can see where it's not necessary to post everything on a public site? No one is picking on you. I just read that and thought it was lame.

If you girls want to pick out who you'd be in Grease, do it on your personal e-mail. Oh, sorry, that's right- that's flooded.
All I'm saying is, this isn't the place for that.

Isn't this the NWR board? Meaning Not Wedding Related? I didn't realize there were limits to what isn't wedding related. And deal with the fact that occasionally, people are going to think something is funny when YOU don't.

MV - I couldn't agree more. You said it perfectly. The nonsense that reaches this board is ridiculous. It is always being said that people can have opinions and say what they want but unfortunately, that seems to only apply to certain individuals. The bottom line is - don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you.

All I have to say about this thread is I agree w/Mistyeyed.
NWR- Please let's not start telling each other what we can and cannot post. Whether it's about war or love, what I cooked for FH or who chipped a nail - isn't that what NWR is all about? TO post about whatever we want? Just for FUN.
To get away from our wedding planning and just talk about 'whatever'.
