I wanted to start a new post, as the other one has nothing to do with me. I'm sorry to see what was going on, but didn't feel the need to jump in on something that had nothing to do with me.

Just as anyone else, I was checking in and thought I'd read it to see if it was a topic I knew anything about or could learn from.

I thought this NWR board was a good thing. I mean, a common thing in our lives brought us all here to this site. It's a good thing and you can learn a lot here, as well as make some good friends along the way. There is a lot of support here, not just for anyone's upcoming wedding. I've found that NYPD fiancee's and wives can support one another, which I think is awesome! I've seen that if someone has a serious topic in life, there are a lot of unbiased opinions that you can receive for advise. Life throws us all a curve ball once and again, it's nice to have a community to ask for advise.

However, I think this high school non-sense has really just got out of hand. If anyone wants to post how they chipped a nail today, or they won't be on b/c they got a flat tire on the way to work- write your personal friends. I'm not trying to make rules, I'm just asking for everyone to use some F*cking common sense! Oh, I was cleaning a garage and I missed this. If someone starts trouble and there's a little controversary, let them work it out!!!! If we're suppose to be grown women here- start acting like it. Don't waste my time, if I'm trying to look and see what wedding things are going on, or what else we can learn from eachother about how your dog at the cat food today.

You can all reply to this and curse me out if you like. I too- just wrote my opinion. No need to suggest the wedding 'police' are on the way, no need to say 'oh, I got your back' Just start a new post that actually makes sense. Something that either everyone might be interested in..... or write your friends and FM, isn't that what it's there for?

For all the other girls who read this and I wasted your time, I'm sorry, I'm just sick of the non-sense.

I couldn't give less of a crap about Theresa's comment to Allure (no offense to either of you). What is annoying is that we have to deal with all the 'I got your back' nonsense - this website sounds like a bunch of stupid thugs sometimes, rather than a group of mature, intelligent women planning their weddings and their lives. Everyone should use common sense and know when to use FM or their own private e-mail accounts to post every tiny detail of their lives. This is a public board and I shouldn't have to go through 3 **** pages of private posts to find a thread that might apply to all members of the boards!

This wasn't directed at any one person. If I had a problem with you, I would approach you like a woman and settle it out of the public. I've got more class than that.

Can I ask something seriously? Why do we all care what a handful of sad little people think or say about everyone? Why are we giving them so much power over our LIW lives? Haven't they run enough people off these boards? Maybe they should take their little street gang (I'm making reference to this because they act trashy and threaten people constantly - like the pathetic little thugs they are) and move it to a more receptive site? Why? Because they LIKE the attention, they like the drama and they like to hurt people's feelings. They have no cooth or control over their own mouths, imagine how many real friends they have on the outside world, outside of LIW? I tend to think not too many. It's one thing to be honest, it's another to be intentionally cruel or inconsiderate of other's feelings. Don't use the 'I'm not a hypocrite' to mask your real objective - to be unecesarily insensitve to others.

Or maybe their real problem is that they were not hugged enough as a child?

So all of you out there that is tired of the drama/b.s., Let's give those who need the attention so desperately a great big LIW hug!!!

Someone needs to remind some of these girls that there is a WAR going on right now!! If they stop thinking about themselves for 2 minutes and read the paper once in a while, they might realize how stupid all this really is!!!

My intentions were NOT to give anyone any attention that they obviously starve for! It is just a waste of time. There are many more important things in life right now to be thinking about. We're at war, we're getting married .... I'm sure most of us are thinking of starting a family.
I think we can use this resource, that we're all lucky to have, for a better means!
